Tutorial: Importing / Creating Your Own Basic Car Mod For TDU

this is very difficult and time consuming. what you would do is pick a car say the Chevorlet SSR. use .bnk editor extract everything in Common_car.bnk and SSR.bnk then open SSR.3dg in zmoddler

 

First step make sure you have put the the extracted Common_cars and SSR folders in you SETTINGS>SERVICES>TEXTRUES)

 

import your .dff

 

move your GTA model up so its level with the D_SPLANE then follow the turorial very closely. make sure to change the materials to paint when you right click each part PROPERTIES>POLYGONS>MATERIALS

 

once you've given every part a TDU material

 

Modify attach all parts and rename that model BODY_HR

 

save that as a .3dg

 

use TDU-tool to replace SSR.3dg

 

I hope this helps this is as much as I know

 

With this much done you should be able to at least see it in the game

 

I was able to make this following those steps attach the wing and diffsuor parts to body HR.

i have a question. can i join club in tdu in offline mode? how? and how can i enter drive-in ?

 

No, you can't.

 

I think I´m just too stupid.

How do I extract the bnk files in 2db or where do I find the 2db files?

 

Use BNK extractor or TDU Modding Tools 1.15

Hello! So i have a problem. I took model from Forza 4 LOD0, with high polygons, it doesnt showed in game. But when i put LOD1, or low polygon model, it worked. What is the problem.I know that model isnt one big object but there are many of these objects. I put them through Lightwave in one big object

Found a slight glitch here, what do you do if when texturing the body, there is no 'PAINT' option!

Here just take a look

I even did all the texture imports, so it can't be an issue there. I'd appreciate some help, trying to get a modeling thing going :P

Hi. I don't understand this tutorial.

 

First what i need to download from this page ? Djey : TDU Modding Tools [1.16.2] + Extras | turboduck forum

 

1: Extract all 'Common_cars' .2db files only don't convert into .dds

 

2. Extract all 'SKYGTR' 2db files

 

What i need to to ? Where i can find this Common_cars and SKYGTR files ?

 

I want to convert bike in game. Find Hayabusa and want to try convert it in game.
