New Maserati GranCabrio

Well i was flickin' through my monthly TG magazine and guess what i find...

THE NEW MASERATI GRANCABRIO!

I was completely shocked at how good it looks and how different it is to the normal one. It's said to debut in the Frankfurt Auto show and it has the same engine from the Gran Turismo 'S' (431HP 4.7L V8). 0-60mph in 6 seconds and top speed of 180mph (290km/h). This car is unexplainably good looking and has smashed it's competition. But for now..here's some pictures :D

2 things I don't like in this car. First, still the same engine, that just must have 100 more hp to be a great one. From all the tests I've seen/read about the GTS, it's just lacks power at high speed. Second thing, is that imo the body is the thing that makes the GTS so damn beautiful and with that roof ripped off now, I really thing it became uglier. It's probably a great cruiser but you expect more from the sporties Maserati in production.

I think its stunning. I read about it about a month ago I think, maybe 3 weeks but was before leaving to uni. I want one, showed my dad, he wants one but 100 grand!! Why is it priced so high, surly this isn't a Audi R8 V10 / Aston killer.

Yes, but a Maseerati will absolutely kill a Camry of any engine size around any corner. There is also large amounts of detail that go into each Maserati that will never go into any Camry or any Toyota for that matter.

Stunning car, can anyone else but me see this as a 4-door coupe and cabriolet? Hell even a limousine, it's just well... lovely.

I can't really see it as a limo, but most definately as a 4 door coupe!!

I've always loved the front grille on the recent mazzers.

I saw this at its Uk debut at Goodwood Breakfast Club, it seemed fairly nice but i'm not a fan of Maseratis
