Hello!

I want to make new hair colour for my avatar.

This is my avatar:

ss8ddnc4qjg6y1xc11o_thumb.jpg

And I want to change her hair colour to black or brown, but this colour is unavailable. How can I make it?

I know nothing about 3D modelling, but I know to how to use GIMP to change the texture colour.

Thank you in advance.

I looked into how to do this once, as well as changing the colors that clothing is available in. Apparently, the textures are stored in grayscale format, so there's no way to simply recolor the textures. I'm pretty sure that this is a matter actually concerning the database, rather than the textures themselves.

I hope this helps. :)

In database I found this:

// TDU_Hair.db
// Version: 1,2
// Categories: 5
// Fields: 7
{TDU_Hair} 1255524264
{REF} x
{ID_HAIR} u
{HairName} h
{Sex} l 1282586878
{File} u
{Mesh} u
{Material} u
// items: 1
54522;54370022;5436022;56758127;54640827;54707527;54713527;

And this:

I don't know what it means.

In COMMON_CLOTHES.BNK I found 4 files:

W_LONG_HAIR02_COMMON.2DM

W_LONG_HAIR02_COMMON.3DD

W_LONG_HAIR02_COMMON.3DG

W_LONG_HAIR02_COMMON_MAT.2DM

I think these files are responsible for the long hair 2.

Sorry if I make any mistakes in writing, but this is my first year of learning english.

EDIT:

In PEDESTRIANS.BNK(euro\bnk\CHARACTERS) I found a few files.

How can I open the .2DM files?

Thank you in advance.

I've seen that before, but unfortunately I don't think that will help. I think hair colors are stored the same way that car paint colors are stored in the database, and that can't be changed without some kind of database edit.

Thanks, though :D If I find anything that might help, I'll tell you. (I've looked at the databases with dredgy's TDUUT tool - it's on Dredgy's website, tdupe.com - but I haven't found anything useful yet.
