Nice to see the old 300SL has old, non-flaked paint, but too bad the logo's are low-res, like the DBS rear Wings-logo

Loving the resolutions myself, I now have the 300SL as my new wallpaper (on my newly installed OSX :D)

Edit: also, looking at the wheels, they seem to be better than Forza 3 in the sense that the textures aren't completely 2D. yes, they blur now, but the wheels still have a nice shape whilst turning.

Hopefully it's a nicer car to drive this time :p I used to love it but sub 100mph got pretty old when everyone else *cough*mellors*cough* drives at 200Mph everywhere they go :P

i so agree with you it kinda takes away from the car but other then that pictures look great.

It would have been cooler if we had high performence tires like hancook, pirelli, etc,,,,,,,,,,,,, instead of regular plain tires.

Here's an update that would have made less confusion about the latest updates concerning the Name a Track rule updates:

Hey there everyone! I just wanted to give you a quick update as to an issue that has come up regarding our "Name A Track" contest.

Some of you guys have read through the contest rules by now and noticed a bit of an issue. This contest is only available to people living in North America. The folks who have pointed this out are completely accurate. At this time, we are only accepting submissions from North Americans.

We absolutely recognize that this is upsetting for people who don't live in North America, and that's the last thing we want! We want to assure everyone that we have no intention of being exclusionary with this contest - everyone who loves Test Drive Unlimited deserves a chance to leave their mark!

Frankly, this contest is limited to North Americans for one simple reason, and that is the legality surrounding contests varies dramatically from country to country, making it virtually impossible for us to run a contest that anyone in the world is eligible for. We're not letting that stop us, however.

While the specifics have not yet been determined, we are considering a few different methods of extending this competition to as many other territories as possible.

I absolutely assure everyone here that as soon as I know more details, I will post up an update.

This has been taken straight of the TDU2.com website.

If it's on the official tdu2 site it will more than likely be Atari that's posted that than Lee or NBP. I wonder why it's such a legal issue though as there are no prizes involved and it's not as if you would have to worry about the entrant having any claim to anything of value or royalty due to a clause in terms saying that the name is their name to use as free and recklessly as they want.

Then again the US does have a tendency to sue for anything so perhaps this kind of stuff does need to be done now.

Over here a simple send in your ideas for a track name in TDU2 and your entry will be chosen for use within the actual game. There is no physical prize for this apart from the name you have entered being used in the actual game itself. Entrants must be X years or older and you also agree that Eden Games and Atari can use your entry name as they so wish and that you have no claim to how or in what way the name you entered is used or utilised within the game Test Drive Unlimited 2.
