How to disable birds and leafs in game?

Hi.

 

Just trying to speed up my game a little bit, I just read it is possible to disable birds, leafs and flying newspaper in game.

 

Could anyone please tell me how to do so? I can´t find it here or on google.

you can delete the datas in the DETAILS folder.

 

GERMAN: geh in den Details ordner, dort hast du diese 3 oder 4 datein, keine ahnung ich hab die auch schon gelöscht, und die musst du einfach löschen. bei mir hat das auch etwas geholfen.

Thank you very much. That was quite simple. ;)

 

I found a hint in a TDU community today, that gave me some new options for my graphic card. I just tested it and the game is faster now. Hope it wont freeze, I´ll try right now.

There was something posted a while ago - I couldn't find the thread - but it was basically opening up the Weather.ini file and setting all Windspeed entries to 0. That way your CPU wouldn't have to calculate how trees, telephone lines and whatnot would have to move around I think.
