Skydome?

does the TDU engine have a skydome? .. look alot nicer with a ultra hi-res picture of clouds and what not...

Now that's a question that's not been asked before!

 

If my memory serves me correctly, the clouds in TDU move... So I think the sky may be a texture, but the clouds are "modelled" ... I think...

Navigate to ...Atari\TDU\Euro\Bnk\FX and open clouds.bnk. Now, inside you'll found a file that's named clouds.2db, that's actually file you're searching. It looks like this:

 

 

As for domes, you'll find 14 of them them in FX folder under dome.bnk.

 

Under sun.bnk you'll find sun_a.2db, sun_i.2db and sun_m.2db. They define, well obviously, the shape and looks of the sun.
