Help TDU2 get a new handling mode, like hardcore mode in TDU1

Would you like TDU2 to be updated with a new handling mode, something akin to what HC mode was to TDU1?

Then please post here in this thread, or even better, post here on TDU2.com with your opinions on it. The more people that reply to the thread over there, the more likely Atari/Eden are to take notice of the thread and possibly do something about it.

Thanks!

Whether you post here or on TDU2.com please keep it constructive and civil as if you get the thread removed then no-one will see it. And even though I am for this and hope a popular discussion arises from it, if the thread goes way south I'll remove it. So play nice. :)

Handling:

Realistic handling is key for games using real cars. If the cars don't handle like the real ones, what's the use of having close to life car models?

Most modern day cars are built so they can be driven by any random idiot, meaning a realistic game shouldn't be hard to drive.

Force feedback:

Steering feedback plays a big role in controlling a car properly, without this feedback it is sometimes guessing how much grip you have resulting in bad car control.

If you guys want it, then you got to flaunt ....ask for it! Remember though asking for a full-on rFactor, Project CARS, LFS style handling may not be the best thing as TD is not a series for simulation handling, it would be nice to have an option like that of course but for starters just being able to get something that gave the driving feel and madness of power that TDU1's Hardcore mode gave would be a start. :D

Don't get high hopes, as some might know the developers are very VERY stubborn, also when they still had a full team in the beta. Nothing will happen about the handling, it is a known problem and in a Q&A some time ago on the TDU2 forums this was even confirmed, the developers were happy with how it is. And furthermore, there apparently are lots of people who like the handling.

Long before even the beta a topic on the tdu2 forums was made asking the question what people prefered, simulation or arcade and a small amount of people chose arcade over simulation. A 19 page discussion, no interest from the developers at all. But as with many other very obvious problems like no custom radio the developers still do nothing usefull, they create extra useless furniture and a bike that will most likely suck too. So just to warn you, don't get excited at ALL. The developers only do the things that suits them best.

Noone is really expecting anything, all we're trying to do is get a number of people to show via the numbers that this is a viable and wanted option. In all honesty though it's the publisher who dictates what and what does not get worked on. Also I've seen a new term going around to describe what the players who want a little bit of immersion and a more realistic experience in their driving games want. Can you guess what that is?

Believe it or not it's "less accessible". That's right if a game isn't dumb and easy enough for the idiots to get to grips with then by all means pluck the rest! Screw the chance of getting the option to change the game to how you wish it to be as nowadays it's all for the idiots and only the idiots.

Sad times indeed. :(
