just wondering. is there anyway to make the empty spaces on the garage to be filled with cars? some garage have some big empty spaces that can be useful to keep more cars

I'm not sure if its possible but perhaps it could be done. I would absolutely LOVE to see something like a 20 car garage. I would pay to see it! Wonder if any modders here are willing to undertake it (or at least try)...

For example, Sant Llorenc Hacienda could easily hold 20 cars, but instead it holds only six. Imagine having all your favourite cars in one huge garage- you wouldn't need any other homes! Would be so immersive :)

I want the opinions of the modders on this site to see if it could be done. A modded Sant Llorenc Hacienda or similar house would make a great real estate edition to UP 0.5 :duck:

That would be awesome! But I'm thinking that the cost of it may well be a problem. I don't know if there's any decent way of making money in TDU2 (my internet is bad thus I cant complete the round Hawaii tour without it cutting out halfway!) but I really struggle with money

The house would cost the same as all you'd be doing is just using the space of the garage you paid for better! :)

Hmmm... To use more space in dealerships or garages, it needs some database editing... That's very complicated and needs a lot of precision.

I wouldn't do that... But maybe StarGT or Xarlith can help you on this ;)

Xarlith and others have done wonders with car places in dealerships etc so I think they could edit player garages with no problem (I'm not saying it will be easy however as yeah databases etc are a pain in the arse)

But I really hope they could create new garages- I've always felt 8 cars isnt enough for me and it would be nice to have all the cars in one place :) You could then truly make a virtual car collection :P

That's my other idea. I know it's easier said than done. It may actually be a huge pain in the arse to making it happen. How about a new garage? I personally didn't like to have a repetitive garage. Up until now, i only have one of each type of garage (one yacht, one loft, etc). But yeah that seems almost impossible to do though. So taking advantage of the empty space on the existing garage is definitely more do-able. I'm pretty sure the space on the Asian dealership where you can find Toyota supra and R34 is empty before the patch. Is it possible to do the same on the garage?

Well, no, it actually isn't impossible, if you like to improve your times in the races and Time Trials then the grinding is not as painful, and the UP eases the pain a little more (40.000 for a Cup race sounds pretty good, and some of them are pretty fun like the B3 one)

If you want money FAST, then yes, you have to cheat. I lost my savegame months ago with all cars, even the Casino ones, and my last backup was from waaaaay before that, so i have to admit i cheated, i don't want to suffer the grindfest AGAIN nor i do have the time (i can only play at night, basically) or the resources (my internet connection is utter crap, so i can't play online, wich eases the pain even more) to get all the money again, i don't know if i will even be able to get the casino cars again playing Poker, Roulette and Slots.

The hardest thing about earning money in TDU2 for most people is not the racing itself but the handling that makes the racing a real chore. Unless you can actually tolerate the way the cars move sure making money via racing isn't too bad, but if like myself and many others you feel this game falls flat on this then it is damn near impossible to make some decent cash in a good time frame. The dodging traffic isn't too bad but I know myself that I only enjoyed TDU2 because of the Casino and that is also the reason I was able to buy everything.

98% of my TDU2 gametime was in the Casino.

Haha that reminds me when i got the Casino DLC (Namco didn't gave it to us press, so we had to buy it apart) and got severely addicted XD Reached easily 70h in that damn Casino

It was fun anyway, very social, at least at the beginning.

The handling model has never been a problem for me, i got used easily to it and understood how everything works, my main issue with the game is that, if you can't play online, is not exactly a neverending game. I like to compare it to Pokémon: Not only it's a collect'em all game, but also if you don't have anyone to play with it ends as soon as you defeat the Pokémon League Champion, who in TDU2 is Stuart Wintory, wich happens pretty soon and it only prepares you for the real deal wich is, unluckily, the Multiplayer. Yes, you can devote yourself to the Collect/Catch'em all thing, but with no one to play it becomes a boring task and, again, when it's over it's over.

Thank god i have people to play Pokémon with, and enjoy taking one car per day and cruising by myself. Given that Ibiza ambiance is soooooo similar to my state, Almería, i prefer to cruise in Oahu, and i'm eager to have a decent connection again, but that won't happen anytime soon, so...

With the TDU2-UP rewards for individual races have been beefed up, including a race around Oahu for 1Million and a race around Ibiza for 750.000. Best way to get some extra cash and doing it by driving, as it should be.

Maybe FRIM can be increased. I always wanted an extra level L3 @ 25.000 and a 100.000 for each 1000 miles driven.

I know somebody who had a similar idea in mind. ;) That would be nice.

It's not me you're thinking of, don't you? ;)

I don't think earning money is difficult in the game once you have reached the better FRIM. When I really want to go just for FRIM, I can manage earning about 200k to 250k in about one hour. That's more than a million in an average evening. Should be enough for a UP shopping tour.

I got some millions saved in the casino "bank" as well, must be around 50M chips (100M dollars), thanx to the endless nights at the slotmachines :D
