Cheat Detected in TDU2UP

hello everyone!!A friend mine unpacked the game and Installed the TDU2UP v0.3b but when he starts the game popup a "cheater detected" mensage this is strange because he never buyed anything from atari and he made a new profile the game starts and runs smooth no popups or mensages but when he select his main profile the "cheater detected" mensage pops again.

Is he using the universel launcher? Is there a cheat engine active in the background? I sometimes get the cheater detected when i use it for the Hake Club. I just did a online session with the up and got no error. Tell your friend to make a back-up of his savegame asap.

UniLauncher has some problems with autoclosing in Windows 8.1. If it doesn't close TDU2 detects it as a cheat.

 

Workaround:

1. Run the game with UniLaincher.

2. Alt-Tab to the desktop.

3. Kill UniLauncher process.

4. Back to the game and press start.
