Huh? Do you know like, at all what you are talking about? What does a clutch have to do with anything? As long as it's not slipping it's doing it's job correctly.

 

Bigger cars/vans like the Sprinter has heavier clutches because they need to be a bit tougher than on normal cars, hence a little bit heavier, but not necessarily. If that Sprinter had a petrol engine the clutch would be just as heavy. It all depends on how it's designed. It's something you live with and accept when driving a manual.
