[headline]The Crew - Season Pass[/headline]

Ubisoft have posted about the The Crew's Season Pass and what it will contain and provide to players who stump up the cash for it. As we somewhat knew via the leak by GameStop a number of weeks ago there will be two exclusive cars given, these are the Ferrari 458 Speciale and the McLaren MP4-12C. Also on the goodies list is the first four additional car packs starting with the Extreme Pack, scheduled to drop in January 2015 with the Speed Pack, Vintage Pack and Raid Pack to follow in the subsequent months thereafter.

There will also be extra rims, interior options and game modes for Season Pass holders as you can see via the graphic below.

What’s the first thing you’ll want to do when you get these new rides? Test them out in the game! Alongside the release of each pack, The Crew will unveil new missions that fit with the pack’s theme. These missions (along with new PvP modes) will be available to all players free of charge. Players can also look forward to new customization options, paint jobs, rims, interiors and tuning specs, which will be released via the in-game stores.

The Crew Season Pass is available for $24.99. Or, players can purchase The Crew Gold Edition – available digitally on PC, PlayStation Network and Xbox Marketplace (Xbox One only) – which includes the Season Pass. Individual car packs can also be purchased for $6.99 each.

"Players can also look forward to new customization options, paint jobs, rims, interiors and tuning specs, which will be released via the in-game stores." - This has got my attention. Maybe more of these items can be bought individually with the microtransactions system?

I guess it'll a little bit like the customisation system in Portal 2, completely optional, but with a small paywall there's more opportunity to be unique. Let's hope you can buy only the stuff you really like individually, rather than have to waste money on a pack. For the $20 extra it seems worth it so far.
