Help! Unwanted ads...

Well, yesterday I had none and now I have these in every page I visit. Never happened before. Anybody knows how to get rid of them? I ran an anti-malware software, antivirus and cCleaner and nothing...

 

It's getting on my nerves.

Oh that looks like some dodgy adware has creeped in, have you tried going to 'Settings' and checking what 'Extensions' are installed?

Also check what is running via typing chrome://plugins into the address bar and see if the culprit shows itself. Then see if you can uninstall it via your Windows Control Panel.

 

Looking at what is showing on your screen Positive Finds looks to be the problem. Found this page detailing how to get rid.

it is Mozilla ,right!?Just go to add-on setting and disable it ;)...happened me yesterday....really annoying

Thanks diablo and everybody for your help! Everything worked great, that was the problem. Next time I'll have my eyes opened when installing something (I always do, but this time they got away)

Yeah it helps to look at doing a Custom install when installing programs as typically the default custom settings are the same as a normal one, so you can see exactly what is being installed and where.

Some installers are even worse, presenting a EULA-style page where you think you have to Agree to continue, but this just installs the rubbish addon; you need to disagree.
