Yeah I wasn't talking about mods. Further back in the thread there was a conversation about unreleased 3d files for cars that no one has mods for yet.

examples:

Abarth S2000

AR 33 Stradale

Audi Quattro S1

Bristol Fighter

Ferrari 512

Ford Escort Cosworth

Triumph Speed Triple

(There's a few more but I listed the ones that were mentioned in this thread or other threads.)

There are no mods for these vehicles so I don't know where they got them.

It's clear that ,,, if the MOD is not, 1) wait for someone makes it. Or 2) make it yourself. IMO. :happyroll:

Understood. Thank you again binbow.

One more question if you don't mind, and I promise I'll stop bothering you for a while ;)

There is one car that is available if you do the car swap hack. (Where you change the ID in memory using Tsearch or CheatEngine)

But for some reason it is not available in the VPE.

That car is the Audi R8 Quattro R Tronic.

All other hidden (complete) cars are available in the VPE except that one. Any ideas why it's not there?

MagicV8, after installing a fresh game, unpacking, and then installing the unofficial patch, that is the one car that is not available in any dealers and is not available in the VPE. That's why I brought it up.

binbow, here's the ID of the car.

343 - Audi R8 Quattro R Tronic

Before I starting using your VPE, I obtained the cars using this tutorial:

http://tdumods.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?2271.0

The Hack Pack that is available in that tutorial has a text file in it with all the cars and their IDs.

I can still get that car using that tutorial but I would like to put it in a dealership using VPE. But as I said that is the only car from the list not showing up in VPE.

I could not reproduce the problem.

Please check the following things.

Which game version are you using? TDU2VPE can handle DLC2 v034 or later version.

Do unpack has successfully completed?

Procedure that you used is a method of modifying the vehicle data in the save game. Editing database by VPE does not depend on whether you own the vehicle.

I found the problem. Correction no this time I cannot get the R Tronic, it changes to the 4.2 Quattro. My database shows 343 as the 4.2 Quattro.

ID 343

The association between ID and the vehicle names are described in "dbdata.cpr"

With original (v034 build16) dbdata.cpr , ID343 is shown as "R Tronic". If you use unofficial patch 0.4 or Using the auto pack 1.x, ID343 is shown as the "4.2 Quattro".

I have two quick questions about "using the 'Unreleased vehicle': -For the speed limitation 69km/h:"

1. When inputting the TC settings with VPE do I have to input the settings for every single unreleased car I want to make work or does inputting the settings once and saving fix the 69 KPH issue for all the vehicles?

2. Is inputting the TC settings going to affect the way the cars handle in the game? If it is only a minor change to handling then that is OK with me, but if the cars become a pain in the ass to get off the line then that will be a problem.

1. It is necesary to set the value for each single unreleased car you want to make work.

2. TC settings does not affect the handling of the other car.

Can you edit the F2008 or whatever the Ferrari Formula 1 racing car is?

You can edit only vehicle that car name is displayed in the model name drop-down list. If the model name is not shown, you can not edit that car.

If you have a data of the F2008 (or other F1 car), it is possible to replace the data of the other vehicle (for example F2012).
