Kunos Simulazioni posted the sixth teaser screenshot in a row, revealing more content for the upcoming Assetto Corsa Dream pack #2.

As with the previous teasers, the screenshot shows us a view in the cockpit. Especially community members who are in their 40s will instantly recognise the dash of the Lamborghini Countach. Build between 1974 and 1990, This Italian high-performance sports car defined the word “Supercar”.

The Assetto Corsa Dream Pack #2 will include 10 cars and the Circuit of Catalunya. So far Kunos Simulazioni’s licensing manager Marco Massaruttos has shown us Dream Pack #2 preview screenshots of the following cars:

  • Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus SCG 003
  • RUF RT12R
  • Audi R8 LMS
  • BMW M4
  • Ford GT40
  • Lamborghini Countach

The Lamborghini Countach was styled by Marcello Gandini of the Bertone design studio and instantly became one of the most iconic supercars in history. The Countach was in production between 1974 and 1990 and during this time the original Countach LP500 prototype evolved into models such as the LP400, LP400 S, LP500, LP Turbo S, and 5000 Quattrovalvole.

Underneath its aluminium body, the car featured a tubular space frame and fiberglass underbody resulting in a very strong and very light chassis weighing only 1,400 kg. The chosen engine for the prototype was a 3929 cc Lamborghini V12 that was connected to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The V12 produced 370 hp. For later models, the engine displacement was increased to 4754 cc for the LP 500S and 5167 cc for the 5000 QV.

Besides the Dream Pack #2, Kunos Simulazioni also released the Assetto Corsa V1.3 update, introducing a number of game engine improvements and a selection of new features.

The core game now supports native 64-bit code, and features a reworked multithreaded physics set resulting in a better and more precise driving behaviour. This should also result in a better force feedback implementation, eliminating signal noise and random vibrations.

The 1.3 update is free so you still get the benefits from that.

Yes, but i'm interested about BMW M4 and Countach :(

Also free is the knowledge that others out there are driving the Huracan GT3 :sulk:

I'm waiting for Lamborghini Veneno, but not sure if Kuno's have license for that.
