Don't they usually make games based on films and they are crap most of the time so I wounder what they will make of this

Great game with a good story behing it ... BUT It'll be terrible ... you name a good film that's come from a computer game?

Tomb Raiders - terrible

Resident Evils - dire

Super Mario Bros - what were they thinking?

Doom - cringe-worthy (although I liked bit that had the same shot of the gun going up and down as you walk as per the game ... but you can't like a movie from one shot)

Mortal Kombat - Nooooooo

Streetfighter - well it had Kylie in it

Dead or Alive - good eye-candy (awaiting Baldred's comment about my one tracked mind) but terrible film again

Wing Commander - ?

Final Fantasy: Spirits within - superb animation but what about the plot

Well that's a few I can think of ... doesn't look good does it?

but damn, BIOSHOCK! 'twas an awesome game. i wonder what the ending will be. lol.

havent played bioshock myself, but i know about the story and stuff so it should make an interesting film assuming they dont totally muff it up. i quite liked the hitman film although it was'nt all that much like the game. theres a farcry film coming out aswell. halo was being made but they stopped that. i think assassins creed would be cool on the big screen. bloodi hell i just checked and theres loads in production! assassins creed, gears of war, world of warcraft, rainbow 6, metal gear solid, kane and lynch and devil may cry.
