    • They will get it back soon
    • They will lose it in a skip somewhere

Well what do you think? Will the upgrade and implementation go smoothly or will it be a somewhat unfortunately named 'typical atari', ie; later than planned. :D

I was wondering the exact same thing, I imagine they are just Upgrading the Vb to 3.7.0 or 3.6.8, and other things to the site.

Upgrading doesnt take that long, But maybe the size of the forum is why it might take all day

Ah wondered why the site was down. Must be some more of this "Scheduled Maintenance" Needless to say I voted skip.

Ah it loaded the multilingual message this time, it never got that far last time.

I don't think the forum will be being upgraded tbh, the way the site and forum are integrated upgrading vbulletin would be a job in itself.

Speaking of vB 3.7.0, it will be coming to TDUc in the very near future. I'm just making sure it works locally before doing the install on here. Also got to make a database backup tonight so the forum might go down while this is going on. I'll be sure to put a notice up when this is going to happen though.

Do we get to bet on how long TDUc will be down when that happens? ;)

As far as I know, the Atari downtime is mostly related to the login backend, not especially the forum version itself. But any changes to user login systems obviously have to be quite secure before you go back online.

Oh I'm on now.

Looks like they've went a bit Web 2.0 on this and finally, god of all gods they upgraded the board ! Now let's see if 3.7.0 makes an appearance or does that change too much and they have the integration working properly with 3.6.9 and it will take another 37 years till the next upgrade? Just kidding!
