The Site Clock

A silly question but why does the site show the time as a 24hr time but also state AM or PM ... surely using the 24hr clock means you don't need the AM/PM?

Just noticed it when mentioning my post about sat night GTA IV free roam ... thought I'd see what time the forum uses and then noticed that the main clock and the time on the posts has both 24hr and AM/PM

Does it really matter, at least the time is up there. It won't make much difference plus it helps identify that it is infact PM as i'm sure some people out there wont understand Military time.

Let's just say it's an international helper, those who know and understand the 24 hour clock (believe it or not there is a high % that don't!) will have no issues knowing what time it is but those who can't will see the AM or PM and have some general idea about the time it's showing.

BTW, I'm certainly not smart, but I can read a 24hour clock. So how slow are these people?
