X Japan Announces New North American Tour in 2011

Yoshiki Hayashi, co-founder of the rock band X Japan, announced last week that the band will be doing another North American tour in March followed by a South American tour in April. While details are still being worked out, the tour in South America will include both Brazil and Chile. Yoshiki also indicated that there is a possibility of surprise concerts in Japan.

This fall, X Japan held their first North American tour which included cities such as Vancouver, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, and Chicago.

Yoshiki attended a party in Los Angeles to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Sanrio on December 11. Yoshiki collaborated with Sanrio to create the yoshikitty brand. X Japan has created music for anime works such as the X² music video collection and the X film.
