Laptop problem?

Ok, my laptop has crashed 9 times this evening, I put it into Safe Mod and found that Windows can't load the driver software for the Consumer IR Device and its caused my laptop to restart itself, crash and each time it restarts, it says there has been a hardware failure and the setup repair wizard will fix it.

 

It works in Safe Mode but not in the normal mode (btw I have Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit.)

 

I haven't a clue what to do, btw I'm putting this on all the Forums I go on so I'm looking for help everywhere.

 

Should I ask the manufacturer? =S

can't you boot into safe mode and remove all of the software that is causing the problem and then reinstall it?

 

I know it's a pain in the arse, my pc is giving me the BSOD randomly. Hope you get it sorted
