Yeah, we are discussing only stuff and problems mod related (hence the title of the thread) Glad I could be helpfull. Enjoy.

The game has a dedicated key to start the car. In the option menu it should be called "play" or "start". Basically, you always need to manually start the car when entering free roam or an event. Go find the option and bind it to a key different from "accelerate". This isn't even a mod related problem, maybe we should keep this thread to just related stuff and problems. And I'm a newby too, I shouldn't be telling you this.

@postcd Yes, MagicMap is a requirement for almost any kind of mod by now. But, if you're using any of these patch/pack : - 1.68 - 2.00 - Milli's Ultra Megapack - Milli's TDU Platinum You won't need Magic Map as either it's already included, or already contains a modified one. Replacing will kill features. If you only need a Magic Map, get only Euro\Bnk1.map file from Milli's UM or TDUP. It should work.

As far as I'm concerned, that's a feature. It was implemented way back, with an old patch, I think. They did it so cops can show up during online gameplay or something.

I stumbled across this video which shows just how revolutionary our beloved Test Drive Unlimited game was (for 2006-7). Fast forward 12 years later and some of these features are yet to be given to Forza players: And before you go on about how FH4 has winter... What are some of your favourite features from older games like TDU1 that you'd like to see make a comeback?

One thing I don't like so much about FH games is that you often have to tune cars up so much to be competitive online that they lose their enjoyable handling characteristics. This was never an issue in TDU.
