    Andraste Modding Framework Andraste, at it’s core, is a generic modding framework, aiming to bring a modern toolset into old (DX 9) and modern games alike. It does so by injecting a .NET FX Runtime into native applications, allowing us to code the framework in a safe language (C#), which even opens up the possibility to write code modifications in .NET languages, that interface seamlessly with the native code of the game. Note: This current release requires you to be tech-savy and is primarly aimed at mod developers and to find problems with the base-framework. It won't provide major features, yet, so don't sweat it, if you can't get it to run. Note: While this is in the TDU2 category, Andraste can also be used for TDU1 and potentially a lot of other games (unless they are 64 bits or have some protective anti cheat system) How to run Andraste Currently, Andraste only comes with a console launcher, so to launch it, you need to execute the Launcher.exe and pass the path to your game. This can be done by dragging the game onto the Launcher.exe or better: creating a shortcut to do that. If Andraste is running, it should write logging output into the console window of the launcher. At this point, you can start creating mods that will then be loaded into your game. In order for mods to be loaded into your game, place them into the mods folder next to the Launcher.exe Currently, since the Launcher has no proper GUI, all mods are always loaded, you can't toggle them, but you can move them out of the mods folder. If you still have problems launching Andraste, see our Docs on using the Launcher and "installing" mods. Converting an Mod into the Andraste Format First, make sure that you have the permission of the original author to convert/upload the andraste version of the mod. Then, follow our Getting Started Guide What can I use it for, at the moment? If you managed to convert a mod, you can now use (and remove!) these game mods, without changing your unpacked(!) base game (the game needs to be unpacked, because the VFS feature only replaces existing files, it doesn't create packed files yet). While this feature may not be impressive yet (besides removing mods without having to have a backup of your game folder somewhere), there is much more possible with that technique, but that takes manpower and time. Internally, we're currently using the scripting functionality to find out more about the game and progress on different fronts such as multiplayer or asset manager, so definitely stay tuned for further progress, at some point, we will release the TDU2 Modding Framework, that is an additional layer on top of Andraste, providing TDU2 specific features (patching files inside BNKs, running on a packed game, hot reloading, ...)   2. I never played online in old days. How to unlock multiplayer events? Can't find them at all on my map.

  4. You should install it (without uninstalling anything!), DirectX version doesn't matter in this situation. :DAlso I've heard that Windows10 has some Xbox PVR stuff pre-enabled so you might have to disable it.

  6. TDU2 made instances a bit more resilient from such feedback. Is this something that is theoretically doable in an update to Project Paradise? Of course, you don't have to, just curious.

  7. Most of the time, going to Map involves breaking current instance, so you'll have to wait again for people to reappear. Indeed. Edit: clicking on people on Map to join them might make them appear faster.

  8. So, nobody know how to fix problem with: command line giving me crash? I actually fixed(disabled all overlays, anti-virus, firewall and run program as administrator) crash with parameter "-races -sd -fuel" and it now works fine, but "hd" is still giving me crash on startup. Also, is mod still in development? Will we get multiplayer races and all that kind of stuff any time soon? =]

  10. You can sometimes get disconnected from the server because you stayed inactive for too long (by inactive I mean not playing online :D). Simply restart the game after you've done your missions as Hypercycle said.

  12. White names with -//- icons means that your're having connection problems. The problem is not a glitch, but your own internet. Edit: You would have same problem if this game still had it's servers open.

Welcome to TDUCK synflux after u got ur first house and did the first race, its always good to restart the game so the MP map loads quicker Here u can see the player count Im not 100% sure if possible to add other ppl to the friends list yet, bec that use to work over that gamespy messinger, i think it was called GameSpy Arcade

  14. Hey hey just joined to say BIG THANKS for bringing back online TDU! Was great to see other players cruising again -good times! ^^ Hashwell mentioned he's able to see a player count. Where can I find this info? Clicking "players" used to show red areas back in the day. Nothing showed up when I tried tonight. Are we able to bookmark online players or is it random sessions?

  15. Hi! Thanks for this online patch - it work! Was have fun just see online player and speack whis them - it is already enouch, but if you can do more - thank you! From me little "upgrade" for better visibility: - For AMD Videocard user (for Invidia it is same just finde it) 1) open AMD Catalist CC, then go to Games here press Add + or something like thet (im using diferent lang. not English); 2) after thet finde (TestDriveUnlimited.exe) file and then put here Anisothropic Filtering to 16x; 3) press save and thets all. P.S. Sorry for my bad Englsh. So Thank You for game!

  16. I just wanted to say: Great mother****ing job man. It feels just like old times. By the way: I can say that it works great with my digital downloaded copy of the game except for the fuel mode. It crashes when I run out of gas. But whatever, I just turned it off. I do have a question: Are there future updates planned? I suppose now we can add cars, mods and roads for everyone to see, right? Anyway, keep the good work up! TDU's alive!!!

  18. You can only connect to 7 additional players at a time. That's just the original design of TDU (and TDU2).

  19. yup i had the same idea but it doesnt help .... (change AD settings in game) , i try it once more today :) , and it is normal when i play and gae say : 34 players and i see only 8 for example ? , or it is problem with ports ? some players is smooth riding without any lags , and there are any official races ? or only freeride ? , anyway i like this mod :) better game experience then single player :)
