Madmax did you send it to uk.support[[AT]]atari[[DOT]]com ? They seem to be quite good in responding to enquires. Also regarding the road thing it's usually due to not being able to stream enough ahead compared to what speed you're doing. I know 360 has 2 locations this can happen and Eden did respond that to fix this is a major task though I have seen others say that the game runs much better when installed on a different hard disk or that you increase the paging file.

Looking over and editing many posts at the atari boards I was somehow lulled into the sense that atari haven't said anything about the issues with certain setups or even of work on a patch because they couldn't due to some sort of censorship on them but then I remember this is the PC version. Why haven't they said anything yet? Why haven't they said along the lines of 'yes we know there is an issue and we are working on a patch to fix this, the time for this is not certain but please note that we are aware of the issues and are intent on fixing them with an update.'. We know about the conflicts with some nVidia cards and that they are working on this issue in hand with nVidia but why nothing being said officially about a patch or about the issues? It would appear to me that something like this would stop myself and the other moderators editing and deleting the same drivel and anger posts constantly and also instil some respect and confidence from it's customers that something is actually being done.

It's FFXII, it's finally been released in europe.

In hardcore mode (with no aids at all) I start from 4th then when the race starts rev to about 5500rpm let go then floor it, tires grab traction and the car is gone, those that start in 5th get the jump but 4th gear reels them in so quickly and as you hit 5th and then 6th you're a good 50 ft ahead. I usually lose though when they draft me. lol 4th gear has always worked for me personally, never been a fan of the 3rd to 5th method. I know it works for many people though but I seem to do better with my own especially with the Saleen anyway. Best time on that multiplayer race up at the top is a 20.75 and I can consistently run low 21's. I don't think this works as well with the new handling though after the update but it works a treat in hardcore mode.

Yeah it was start of last month I think. There was also Kingdom Hearts 2 which is a massive seller also.

Actually there have been quite a few releases for the PS2 and fairly big at that in fact. Final Fantasy XII or XIII iirc.

For creating your playlist on the PC I'm sure you just create a folder in the Radio folder and throw your MP3's or playlist in there, I'll have a look around and see for definite though.

Yeah there are a fair few posts over at the Atari boards which are lots of fun to deal with. Seems a gamespy issue though as other games have the same issue.

1. Start > Options > Game Settings > Stake > Press the corresponding button to activate then set your amount, max is $10,000. 2. The S7 is false in this game beyond belief which really sucks because it's all people use though it's fun to stick it to them by using a CCR and passing them at 288mph. hehe Note though in max-speed the S7 is slower but it will get away from a McLaren or any car unrealistically quickly making the top speed kind of redundant. The CCR though will pull easily on an S7 if you launch correctly and get behind it. I haven't lost to an S7 yet in my CCR at the drag strip. :D

You need to reach Champion before it will be an option on the main menu. It will show where it says; Continue Game and New Game. You need 450 points to reach Champion mode.
