Just the usual stuff everyone's watching atm. Saw Avengers: Endgame recently, and finishing up Game of Thrones.
Also The Trip was indeed great.

Hey Milli. Hello all the other old friends 🙂
Yes I've been away for so long. So many reasons made me disappear from here, life, work, depression, and so on. Plus I got bored with TDU's roads and I played too much competitive Sim Racing like GT Sport, Assetto Corsa and others...
Thanks to you Milli, you've made an outstanding work here ! Absolutely mad ! You like many others (Djey, franks...) made me come back playing. I guess you never forget your first game crush.
Been testing and playing for a while. No problem encountered yet since V1.00. I love that you've changed not only the cars but the general TDU experience. The race tour of the island is much better and somehow harder with a crazy fast AI that did a lap of 46mins30 with the F1 GTR. All is well and flawless.
Just a little criticism: car sound wise a few cars don't sound right like I don't get why Lancia 037's 4 cylinder sound like BMW M1's Inline-6. Or some cars sound too similar like the Maserati's V8s and the Audi's V8s. So at the moment I'm looking inside my old massive TDU mods folder to see if I can get a few great sound to give a bit of variety and sense. If turboduck give me permission, I'll post a pack of sound mods for all the Platinium+Atari cars. But it's not all bad, you added some great sounds specially all the Supras.
And why all the HUD's file names have "WHUD" ? In my tutorial I've name the SLS's HUD "WHUD" because they are 2 gauges mods for the SLS: one with a White HUD and one with a Black HUD. So I feel sorry for everyone putting the effort of naming their HUD "WHUD" 😂 You can give the bnk's name any names you like in reality 😉
So other than all that, BIG THANK YOU to you and all the community for this monster work. 😀
On a final note, I'm gonna help feed the wiki specially the "add cars slots" part.
Cheers ! See you on the road !
    Toby

It seems as though this is just a combination of existing mods? If so you can't publish this as your mod.
And if you've used others' mods without their permission (such as StarGT) and they don't authorise this you can't publish their work.
As such download links to his work have been removed. Please PM myself or another admin/moderator if you have any questions.

Quick Update: since I put in the new UI some weeks ago I reworked the whole menue ever since. Progress is great! I finally can put down a todo List what is left, sorted by order i am going to take it on.

-fix the extras-panel in the tuning menue. Its the first task as its the most complicated (after which the body tuning Panel is done)
-adapt plates Panel to new UI(after which it will be done aswell)
    -adapt existing rims Panel
-add minor functionalities to rims Panel
-create UI for the wheel size menue
-create window tint panel (wont take very long as I have the Basic functionalities already coded
-create Suspension panel (going to wheels panel, will be Tricky as i need to mess around with physics)
-add and fix minor Details on UI
-Continue working on Pause menue (without settings for Demo as it would take too long to develop since i am way behind schedule already)

After that the UI is done. Everything after that are small tweaks as which:
    -finish up modeling environment
    -local variable transfer (savegame)
-adding actual demo version cars with tuning parts
-add some rims, Frames and other Universal tuning parts
-and maybe some small stuff i dont remember

Still, a long way to Go, but at this point the most work was already done. As far I can tell, everyone, even game Development collegues are saying the game looks great. So maybe it is :) stay tuned. Hope to have the Demo done before February.

    Hello there, I'm K3
a friend recently showed me this Project of yours and I got to say I'm interested, I'm a self-made 3D Designer working with Blender and Substance Designer/Painter and got some experience with UE4 already, I'm busy until next year but then I would be happy to help you in this Community project as I'm a fan of TDU and TDU2

I don't have much experience with home/studio mics but I was surprised at how well my new noise cancelling headphones replace the sound of my keyboard with silence, so the suggestion above pertaining to microphones with noise cancellation features may be worth looking into.

I would also suggest searching YouTube for something like '2018 best gaming microphone'...
    (1) even if you are not gaming, the requirements will be similar - good voice quality, doesn't pick up unwanted noises
    (2) YouTube videos will give you some auditory comparison on how they sound

I remember having a wheel/pedal set back on my PS2.. think it was a Logitech? No 900 degrees+ of rotation back then! Still it wasn't bad at all. Had a blast cruising on NFS:U2 before TDU came along

So here it is, my 1985 Toyota Corolla GTS. Its got a few JDM goodies such as SSR wheels, Bride seats, a Crystal Body Yokohama front bumper and plenty more. It's in excellent shape and is roadworthy as is. Just a matter of fixing up some little nitpicky things and it will be perfect.

I think what I miss most (apart from the massive open world) and hope to see in TDU3 is simplicity. I loved that TDU didn't overcomplicate things with some cheesy, dramatic storyline. You get off a plane in Hawaii, rent a car, and go earn some money to buy cars and houses to keep them in.

Then there's also so many features that TDU had that newer games should have, but don't. Being able to rent a car, or test drive a car, to decide if you actually like it before you buy. Roads and environments that felt real, actual mountain roads that you couldn't just blast down at 150mph because they were narrow and they were tricky. Hardcore physics mode. Those awesome random challenges like delivering cars, etc.

Just... keep that raid stuff far away from this game, no Monster Energy drink stuff either.

I think it would make sense to use a crowd-funding website so that the liability can be taken out of all our hands and the risk minimized due to the protections offered by such websites. I think people would be a lot more comfortable using the likes of Patreon than just sending money to a PayPal account that someone here owns.

Dear devs, two things I want to talk about:

Idea: online leader board for your game
Many of you might already know, we are going to provide free file hosting, modding space, and gallery for your game
but I want to take this a step further, let me know if this is in your interest:

Given enough interest, I will develop dedicated area for you to register your game profile, this will provide an online Leader Board for your game, (alone with more feature in the future)
in which you will get a token and an endpoint (RESTFul API), you can choose to call that endpoint in any of your game event (say player finished a round),
push token, player name, and score number to that url
then my system will automatically store and calculate top players

Idea: what can we as community help you with the game?
while we would love to have your game released within the community, I understand it is natural to go with Steam for broader audience reach,
with that said, what would you like to see from us that you won't be able to get from Steam?
like dedicated group for your game discussion? like what I have mentioned above? please let me know how we can help you
