  1. Huge massive GINORMOUS improvement over the first version, inside and out!!! This makes 19 Ferrari's in my game now, I just need one last car to make an even 20. I'll work out some cameras later today.
  2. The RPM transitions are extremely rough, it sounds like the car has multiple engines.
  3. Set the seat position sliders to the MIDDLE for both settings. http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=18277 I do all the cameras with that position, so whenever I switch cars, I'm not wasting time messing around with the seat position.
  4. I change those things in my own game all the time and never have a crash.
  5. New Cameras and IK set... Koenigsegg CC8 Cockpit Alpha Brera Cockpit_Back Diablo Hood Chevy SSR Hood_Back Koenigsegg CC8 IK The higher back cams fix the blocked view when looking backwards.
  6. The car is just slightly twisted off-center at the front. The back of the car is perfectly centered where it should be, but the hood is about two "inches" to the right. It's only noticeable in the hood view. And here's some good cameras for this car... Jag XK Coupe Cockpit DB9 Cockpit_Back Audi RS4 Hood Vanquish Hood_Back DB9 IK
  7. tjd271 claims that his brother was one of the people that worked on TDU so he has to keep all his knowledge as private as possible. In reality, I seriously doubt he knows anything at all or even has a brother that worked on TDU, because if he knew how to do all this, he would be a modder releasing perfect mods, not just a random poster claiming to know it all.
  8. You can't just add a vinyl to any car you want, the car model itself needs to be mapped to accept the texture in the right place and right direction.
  9. There's actually a reason for that, back when this car came out, Bugatti themselves were a little paranoid about the car's reputation being tarnished, so they refused to sell the car to just "anyone", even if they could pay the full amount in cash. They only sold the car to those with "prestige" behind their names, fame and money wasn't enough, you almost had to be royalty to buy the EB-110. They also tightly controlled which games the car could appear in, choosing only those games that would show the car in the best light possible. They don't do any of that anymore, now they only care about the cash which is why things like this happen... Apparently the driver "saw a low flying pelican" and dropped his cellphone, and drove into the water while reaching for it.....
  10. Rally cars definitely, but only if there's an option to choose race decaled cars or painted cars without decals. One of my favorite old-school rally cars is this.... It was, and still is, an absolute beast.
  11. I have a couple questions about the Center of Gravity settings. First, for the X Axis setting, let's say I put in a setting of 63, is that 63% of the weight towards the front or is it 63% towards the back of the vehicle? I've found that any setting over 52 makes the vehicle more stable at high speeds, the higher the setting, the less "tail wag" the car has in response to steering input. I've also found that the higher the setting, the harder it is to reach top speed regardless of the horsepower, gearing, and drag settings. Second, for the Y Axis setting, is that a vertical axis setting, or is that a left or right of center kind of thing? If it's left or right, I won't be messing with it, but if it's vertical, which way is up and which way is down??? I've got a few cars that could do with a lower CoG, they seem to want to lift up and almost tip over during a simple handbrake drift.
  12. The game isn't coded for it, and the models aren't made for it. In games like GTA-SA, there's essentially four car models in every car mod. The high poly "clean" model with no damage, the high poly "dirty" model with separated damaged parts, the low poly distance model, and the shadow model (you never see it, only the shadow it casts). TDU lacks the "dirty" model as well as the ability to have separated damaged parts.
  13. The steering wheel position can get moved around by the Cockpit Camera and very slightly by the IK. In v1 with the Daytona camera the wheel was a bit down, then in v2 it's up more, you had to have changed something in the interior file (for the better) between the two versions.
  14. Just set the seat position sliders to the MIDDLE for both settings in the game's own options. http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=18277 I made the Cam & IK topic so people wouldn't have to be constantly fiddling with the camera sliders every time they change cars, just set them in the middle, change the cameras to the ones recommended, and you're set no matter which car you get in.
  15. The '71 Challenger is missing from the list... http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=16718
  16. The R8 V10 is in the list already unless he's redone it again since the last release. I'll try the Viper and Challenger though. Edit: Added 11 more cars, total is now 131 BMW 540i (E34) Chevy Nova SS 1969 Citroën SM 3.0 V6 (US) Citroën SM 2.7 V6 (EU) Citroën XM 3.0 V6 24v Dodge Challenger R/T 1971 Dodge Viper SRT-10 2008 Ferrari California Ferrari F360 Spyder Peugot 206 Toyota Celica I also made a slight change to the BMW M3 E92.
  17. So change the Camera and IK like you were previously told to.... http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=18277 120 cars with cameras redone for the latest modding tools and community patch.
  18. Use the rim file from the first version, and the F430 files in V2 are the convertible.
  19. I still don't understand the deal with the brake lights, this is NOT an issue with the mod, but with Ferrari's design. What is the point of putting two HUGE round tail lights that would be the obvious choice for brake lights on the back of the car, then not using them for brake lights??? Lambo does the same thing, so I guess it's just the brainlessness of SuperCar makers..... $200,000 down the drain.....
  20. The only Lexus still remaining in my game is the LF-A Concept, and that's a mod. I've only got a handful of unmodded cars left, mostly Ferraris.
  21. If anybody's got any suggestions on which cars still need cameras redone, please post them, and if possible a link to the model, at 120+ cars, I'm kinda running out of stuff to add.
  22. Check my post above on which cameras to use.
  23. You're not exactly one to talk when you just called someone else's car request "gross"...... I'm not going to keep my mouth shut just because someone might not like my opinion on something, I don't tolerate that Kindergarten mentality, this is the real world, you're going to hear things you don't like all your life, I suggest you get used to it FAST. I like the cars just fine when I see the movies, but I do NOT like them after seeing them planted into every moddable car game on the planet by a dozen modders multiple times each, especially when there's literally HUNDREDS of good car models out there that could be done instead, yet those requests get summarily ignored for no good reason. This is not opinion, it was part of the movie and no matter how much you don't like it the Monte Carlo in Tokyo Drift really WAS beat up, rusted, primer spots, faded paint, dents, it was about as far from a "perfect car" as you can possibly get, and all that was BEFORE the baseball through the rear window. The Eclipse used in the first FnF movie, really WAS "puny" in comparison to the rest of the main cars in the movie. It's a pure and simple FACT that front wheel drive cars do NOT make good performance cars, the weight shifting to the back tires on launch kills traction, and high horsepower FWD cars are plagued with monstrous torque-steer which kills handling and steering response. Some of you really need to get over the Hollywood hype in these movies, there's so many realism mistakes in the FnF movies that you lose count of them just 20 minutes in.
  24. Best cameras I could find... Shelby Daytona Cockpit VW Golf Cockpit_Back Mas Spyder Hood Audi A3 Hood_Back F575 IK The Shelby Daytona cockpit cam has the steering wheel perfectly centered at a good distance and even lets you see the functional rearview mirror when the seat position sliders are in the middle for both settings.
