  1. I don't think anybody's using 1.10.2 anymore, update to a higher version.
  2. Install manually, stop using the EXE, it's ruining your game because it's not coded properly.
  3. Changing the cameras and IK's does NOT change the performance or handling of the cars. The camera options ONLY change the cameras you see in the game. The driver's view, the hood view, and the two different cameras you see when you look backwards inside and outside the car. The IK option controls the driver seating position inside the car, the positions of the hands on the steering wheel, the position of the steering wheel itself on the dashboard, and the position of the seatbelts in the car. You could change the camera of the VW Golf to the Ferrari Enzo but it wouldn't make the Golf any faster or handle any different.
  4. Riiiiiiiight.......
  5. I changed the gear ratios from the Noble M14 to match the real Audi V-10, and the sound loop is almost completely gone, you really have to listen close to hear it at all now.
  6. The latest version of TDUMT allows you to set 4 cameras per car to make everything perfect. The Cockpit, or the driver's view. The Cockpit_Back, looking backwards inside the car. The Hood. The Hood_Back, looking backwards from outside the car.
  7. If you mean the one in your sig, the ST version is already done, modify the physics and pretend it's an RS.
  8. You forgot the original Veilside RX-7 from the first FnF movie, and the Veilside Fortune RX-7 from Tokyo Drift, both already done, but they really need to be redone from scratch, they were both twisted off-center, and the Fortune is badly shifted to the left of center. The yellow Evo from 2F2F is also done. The Veilside Fortune is really the only one I want to see redone, I actually like the bodykit when it's paint-matched and not two-tone.
  9. Why not just tell him how instead of trying to keep everything private???
  10. The rims changing themselves randomly AFTER you buy the car shouldn't be happening. I purchased the car in the dealership with the proper rims, then it changes AFTER THAT, that's not right.
  11. I don't know if this is an issue with the 1.68a patch or not, but I don't remember this kind of thing happening before I installed the patch. The rims in that picture, are NOT the ones that I installed, they're not the rims that came with the car mod. I named the rim the right way to fit on the Corvette 71 slot where I put the car. Corv_71_F_01.bnk But the car is not using the proper rims, for whatever unknown reason, that car slot (no matter what mod is placed there), is now using the LT1 rims. LT1_1_F_01.bnk I did some testing, I went back to all default rims in that folder and placed the modded rims in one by one, and started the game with each new change. When I replaced the LT1 rims, they showed up on the car which is in the Corv_71 slot. The only car installer that I've ever used, is the newest version of the Bugatti Type 57 SC Atlantic, I manually install all other cars or bikes. I even manually installed the older version of the Bugatti to the 300-SL slot.
  12. I've got a weird bug with one of the cars..... I've got that Ferrari installed onto the Corvette Stingray 1971 slot and I installed the wire rims that came with it. No matter what mod gets installed onto that slot, and no matter what rim is installed onto that slot, it always seems to default back to those same ugly rims after a few play sessions. They work at first, but then go back to those ugly rims.
  13. I really don't understand the new limitation, because you're already giving people fairly significant methods of gaining advantage in online games with the settings that are currently open. Even without changing tire grip or downforce settings, you can drastically improve the handling of any car in the game by changing ride height, suspension rate, "primacy", gearing, and transmission type. A car can be made to accelerate faster and handle far better than a stock vehicle with the settings you already have open. Example, take two identical cars, both RWD 5-speed manual shifting cars, modify just one of them to be 4WD, have 7 gears and have sequential shifting, shorten the gear ratios, lower the ride height and stiffen the suspension. Even though they both have the same horsepower and the same top speed setting, the modified car is going to get off the line faster and handle better thanks to the stiffer suspension and 4WD. It will accelerate faster thanks to the shortened gearing, sequential shifting, and two more gears. Limiting the top speed at this point is like trying to put a cork in the top of a wine bottle that's got a bunch of holes drilled in the side.
  14. I'm honestly tired of seeing all these stupid FnF movie cars being imported into every moddable car game on the planet. There's enough requests out there for far better cars (with models already done) that nobody should be wasting their time on Hollywood FnF garbage.
  15. Will that problem be fixed with a new version of TDUPE or is that a bug in TDUMT? Because there's a few car mods that I've changed the top speed on because they don't mix with the car mod itself. I don't play online so I don't want to be stuck with default physics.
  16. You don't put the WAV files anywhere, all you need is the BNK file in the right place. Saladine included his samples as a matter of courtesy in case people wanted to make a new sound file for a different car.
  17. I saw that test you did, and the dimensions of the windows were not correct, the angles didn't match up.
  18. Looks like you downloaded the Physics installer and not the mod installer.
  19. The whole car needs to be resmoothed from the ground up, especially the windows, it looks like there's unwelded verts all over the place. The scale is also still not right, the car is too tall in some places, to narrow in others, the curves aren't even close to right. That's not a pic of a real car, that's a model, Dangeruss is one of the best in the world at getting models as close to the real thing as possible.
  20. Here's a hint, DON'T USE THE INSTALLERS, put things in MANUALLY, and make sure you back them up first, and don't use the Uninstall option either, some of them aren't exactly written properly. Best thing to do, is to install the game clean, install the megapack, then make a full copy of the whole install folder and RAR it up as a backup then burn it to a disc so it can't be altered. There's only 2 ways to "lose a car slot" in this game, first, if you forget to put the original car model (or even a rim model) back in the right folder, and second, if you deleted a car from the dealership. You'll want to use TDUMT 1.14 and check the dealership for each car you've "lost", you might have deleted a car from the dealerships when you uninstalled something.
  21. You'll need the latest TDUMT 1.14 and patch 1.68a to properly get the right cameras for this car..... Lotus Elise Cockpit Cam Alpha Brera Cockpit_Back Cam Diablo Hood Cam Sagaris Hood_Back Cam Sagaris IK I've gone through 30 or so car mods so far getting all 4 cams and the IK's set right, only 90+ left to go. I'll post the list when I'm done.
  22. The DB9 Grigi Arancio rims have a "doubled" link, it needs to be fixed.
  23. Stop whining about topic bumps, it was old 6 months ago, now you're only getting worse......
  24. Update your patch version to 1.68a and use the newest TDUMT v1.14, it gives more camera options.
  25. It gives me something to do, plus I'll be posting a full list once I get done so other people can benefit from it. I got through 10 cars last night, most of the time spent figuring out the rear view cams more than the fronts, trying to figure out which cams place closer to the back end, which ones are high enough not to look stupid, etc etc. One suggestion for the custom cameras section, it would be MUCH easier to keep track of which camera is in each spot if they could be seen all at the same time instead of just seeing the two cam spots. You have them listed like this..... Hood Cockpit It would be easier like this.... Hood Hood_Back Cockpit Cockpit_Back I also found an interesting little game bug when I used a Hood_Back cam for the Cockpit_Back slot, once you look forward again, you'll be looking at the Hood instead of the cockpit. You hit the view change button, and you're looking at the hood again, then it cycles through the cameras like normal after that. EDIT: I found a bug in 1.14, the camera settings are being combined for both of the VW W12 cars, if I change the cam settings on one car, it matches them on the other car. Never mind, that was my fault for not checking the Use Custom Cam box on the W12 Roadster.
