  1. You know that's never going to happen. This whole refusal to support bodyswapping was born out of the limitations that TDU modding USED TO HAVE but is no longer saddled with, and as such, it needs to END. The so-called "old ways" are dead, bury them and get it over with already. There's far too many mods out there now to deny the ability to bodyswap, especially by coding the physics installer to crash the game if the car installer wasn't used.......that's just not right, plain and simple. It also doesn't help when some of the car slots that are being chosen are some of the most-used slots and you can only install one thing at a time into that slot, so bodyswapping becomes MANDATORY. I've got well over 100 car mods installed, and there's no way that some of them are getting uninstalled just to use these auto-installers and get them to work right without crashing the game.......
  2. I was thinking of the one on the left in your pic when I saw the topic title :( I also agree, I don't like the idea of making a brand new M1 concept car, based on the looks of the old M1 predecessors, then giving the same designation to a bargain-basement entry-level BMW coupe.
  3. That's what I did, I changed the engine type and swapped the physics over to the Mercedes CLK GTR which is where the car ended up being installed to. We really need an option in TDUPE to extract the physics from these installers instead of going through the long method of install+swap+uninstall.
  4. There's quite alot more than just 2, you obviously didn't search very hard....... And to be honest, the super-rich don't exactly advertise what they buy or drive.
  5. The physics installer crashes my game, it won't let the game start at all, plus the physics list is missing the Engine type.
  6. Get a steering wheel with pedals, or a game controller with analog inputs if the ME412 is so hard to control. Either that or edit the physics to give it some downforce and soften the steering if you play offline-only.
  7. There's pics going both ways for the mirror colors, some have the mirrors matching the body color, some are painted neon orange. IMHO it looks better for the mirrors to match the body color.
  8. Wouldn't it save filesize just to color the wipers black and be done with it???
  9. BMW M3 GTR Ferrari 599 How about just FINISHING one car at a time instead of working on 7 cars at once???
  10. Hmmmmm, I uncovered a bug, but not in this mod, it's in Atari's animations for all the motorcycles. The left foot on a real motorcycle is the gear shift, and you pull UP with your toe to shift up, and push DOWN on the lever to downshift. The animations for shifting gears in TDU are ALWAYS downshifting even when you're accelerating, the animations never pull up, they always push down. Nice bug Atari
  11. For those who install this manually, the sound included with the mod is going to cause some problems, the sound stops rising just before 12000 RPM.
  12. With the Cizeta, it looks like you could save a TON of polies just by using a different set of rims, the ones included are mega-high-poly for no real reason. If the 50-60K polycount was including all four of those rims and tires, get rid of them, use something that looks similar but has a lower polycount.
  13. If you've got San Andreas for PC, you can run this car right now, and no, those aren't the stock rims, they're from a separate wheel mod pack, and the reflections aren't stock SA either, they're from the ENBSeries mod.
  14. You complain about people that do that, but it's somehow OK for you to do it???
  15. If you mean the SOUND of the engine, then go to the SOUND forum and look for it.
  16. There's at least half a dozen Skyline sounds out there, some of them BETTER than the garbage movie sounds.
  17. Look in the Sound mods section, there's a set of red striped black Zonda rims packaged in with one of the Zonda or Lambo sound mods by Skepsis.
  18. From that angle it looks like a TVR Cerbera
  19. Exactly, the car wash scene was the Levin, not the Trueno.
  20. There's a file inside the BNK called .BTRQ and that needs to be replaced by the stock XJ220 BTRQ file. Extract the stock BTRQ file from the original XJ220 BNK, then put that file into the Bentley BNK file. Use DJey's Modding Tools to fix it.
  21. Instead of complaining about it, try READING through the topics first, you need to change the CAMERA, and sometimes the IK Set, with DJey's Modding Tools. There's a Search Function up at the top-right, it really does work.
  22. Those are passable for now, but the skinny tires on this model make the rims skinny as well. Hopefully DJey gets his Rim editor working soon.
  23. In game, Options, Game Settings, Seat Position. Either that or you can try the Koeniggsegg CC8 camera.
  24. I tried the stock Dino sound, it's just too....civilized, it needs to be deeper, raunchier, it needs to scream more.
  25. Now that Tool has released the Hakosuka GTR, it desperately needs a proper sound. Get the sound from the GT Legends project used here... Or, if the sound in NFS Shift is close to the real thing use it instead. The real car sound is here....
