  1. You don't need a specific sound mod for every car. Besides which, there's dozens of V8 engine sounds already done, some with superchargers, some with turbos, just pick the one that you like the best.
  2. http://babelfish.yahoo.com/ Posting in Cyrillic won't help you hide what you're talking about.....
  3. I'm working on the distance and shadow models now. I've finished the smoothing on the interior and exterior, made a custom low poly interior including seats and steering wheel, but I still need to seperate out the high poly interior. I might even model the stereo and environmental controls.
  4. You can stop that one anytime now. Babelfish translations are close enough to catch your meaning, and they prove you're just using Russian to mask the fact that you're openly insulting someone and telling lies about what you're doing. That includes the little insult up by your username...... You're also using Russian to mask the fact that you're trying to start crap between Russians and Americans..... Oh and point of fact, "stealth technology" did NOT come from Russia like you just claimed it did, it came from Germany at the end of WWII, where troops discovered an experimental flying wing made from layered plywood that had an extremely small radar cross-section.
  5. If you need to know which cameras and IK's I used, I could post those as well.
  6. You're taking other people's work without permission and charging money for it and it needs to end. Supercharged Buick Grand National GNX 1969 Pontiac GTO 1970 Olds 4-4-2 Look familiar??? They should, those are just 3 of the cars that you've charged people money for...... It doesn't matter if you're only charging a little bit for it, the simple fact that you're charging AT ALL is the problem, it's 100% ILLEGAL to do what you're doing. If you were making your own models 100% from scratch, then it wouldn't be (much) of a problem, but since you're taking someone else's work and profiting from it, it's illegal.
  7. Get a better videocard, faster CPU, and more ram.
  8. Well, I guess I was wrong.....the above list of cars, combined with modding the camera of the Enzo crashes the game.......
  9. I think I just figured it out, I modded JUST the cameras and IK's of 15 different cars, one at a time, and didn't have a problem. BUT.....as soon as I changed the physics of a SINGLE car to 4WD, the game crashed, I tried changing 3 different cars to 4WD in three seperate tests, and changing the physics crashed it every single time. I went back to the default DB file, then changed the physics and the game ran fine. I changed the cams and IK's of the following cars..... Alfa Brera Ascari KZ-1 Aston DB-9 Volante Audi A3 Audi S6 Audi TT Edonis Caddy Cien Caddy CTS-V Caddy XLR-V Camaro Z28 '71 Vette Stingray SRT6 Coupe Farboud Ferrari 308 I changed the cams and IK's of all those with no problem, but when I tried to change the drive type of the ME-412, the SRT6 Coupe, and the Farboud to 4WD, it crashed the game no matter which one was chosen. Physics changes by themselves don't seem to be a problem. Camera and IK changes by themselves don't seem to be a problem. But combining physics + cam and IK changes crashes out.
  10. Actually I changed the ME412 to 4WD and it didn't crash. The car is a beast with 4WD, it just grabs traction and shoots like a rocket.
  11. Nobody should be forced to install bugged up beta level programs using alpha-phase compression routines just to extract files from an archive for a game mod. The simple fact that he's using obscure archives and password protected EXE's and you have to PAY for the password should give you a clue what he's doing......
  12. I'm having the same crashing problem after editing the cameras and IK's for some of the cars, it seems to be somewhere between the Edonis and the Camaro Z28 in the list. When I edit those cars the game crashes out without starting. It's either those specific cars causing the problem, or it's coming from editing too many cars at once.
  13. A suggestion for those with extensive changes to the Camera and IK list..... To make it easier to remember which cars you had changed, and which cams and IK's you used for those cars, go to the list BEFORE you install the patch, maximize the list to full screen, and do a series of PrintScreens, pasting each time into an image editor. I was able to printscreen the whole list into just 3 images at 1280x1024 resolution. I still have to change about half the list, but it's easier this way to get them all correct again, and alot easier than writing it all down on paper, or typing all the changes into a text file manually....
  14. Question about the 350-z rims that were fixed, is that fix possible on the Saleen Mustangs when you choose rims OTHER than the first set, or also on the Alfa GT under the same circumstances??? Those two cars experience the same rim bug as the 350-Z.
  15. There's one person who's claimed that not only are bikes possible, but "they're easy", but he's yet to step up and prove his claims.
  16. Excellent, that will make things look alot better than trying to squish and stretch an existing model into the Diablo.
  17. Can a custom COCK_LR be created or do you have to use one from within the game already?
  18. 49,975 in just the exterior and interior, that's not including the distance and shadow models or the low poly interior. I've deleted as many unseen faces as I can all over the car, but at the same time I've added alot by increasing the numbers around the curves and by adding the interior detail. It's a heavily overhauled previously existing model. Whoever made the model combined some really weird techniques which make no sense at all. Everything from box modeling, to boolean cuts, to squished tube primitives to make squares with:confused:
  19. 3D badges (includes shield on hood), I'm working on the "Diablo" text logo on the other side. That huge Lamborghini script isn't really supposed to be there on the SV version. Interior update. I added the E-Brake handle, smoothed and re-welded the interior and I still need to work on the headliner and sun visors. I re-scaled the model to match the closest car in TDU with the closest wheelbase and rear width (Murcielago Roadster), and when I did, I found that the car's scale was the cause of the cameras being too far away. It's now the proper height, width, length, and wheelbase. I even tried to do modeled-on SV logos on the sides, but that didn't work out. It could be done, but it would be stupidly high poly and it would still flicker like crazy ingame, it's really not worth it in the end. It's going to have to be textured on.
  20. The rims on the older version aren't the same as this new one. The older ones had more of the chrome look to them, the newer ones look alot more white than anything else.
  21. It's already been done, it was just never completed, it's beta quality at best.
  22. What would you rather I do??? Post the same huge list of errors in both topics and have half a dozen of you fearful ones -rep me just because I posted a bug report??? Because both cars have (almost) identical bugs in the same places, and the second version has even more bugs than the first. And don't even get me started on FenixZ's pay-for-play conversions.....
  23. It looks like only the Rapidshare link was updated, the FileFront link still has the version with the pink polys on the back.
  24. You probably should've kept going on yours, it would've been better than the two released so far....
  25. It's only "meh" in it's stock form, Ford Racing makes a conversion kit to use one of their 420 horsepower V8's in that little Focus, it makes the car Rear Wheel Drive too :D http://www.streetracersonline.com/articles/rs8/ There's a silver one in my area with the Saleen bodykit, low profile rims, and it's VERY muffled to be as much of a sleeper as possible.
