released Tool831: 2010 Audi R8 V10 5.2 FSI [V1.3]

Use the rims that came with the V8 R8 and ignore the V-10 badge on the side of the car and it's done already. -
The Bentley Continental GT has already been done, and someone posted a set of rims that match those on the Speed version. The Ferrari 599 is also done, but not released........

The Camera controls the steering wheel position on the dashboard, the Driver's view, and the Hood view. The IK controls the driver and passenger position in the seats (whether the driver is sitting up, reclined, tilted forward, etc), the hand positions on the steering wheel, and the occasional flying seatbelts. If you come across a car with a really bad flying seatbelt problem (Dodge Charger Daytona is one), use an IK from an extremely LOW car in the game (Enzo), or use an IK from a Motorcycle.

That's nice, you just spit on all the rest of the modders who've ever released a car for TDU. Modders are NOT GODS, stop treating them that way, they're HUMAN, and as such they make mistakes. Maybe if some of you would grow a spine and point out those mistakes more often things wouldn't be overflowing with the Drama Queen Gene around here..... -

OMG someone told the truth about a model, he's being aggressive!!! Claiming this model is a V-10 version is 100% FALSE, if you have a problem with that, take it up with Tool, he's the one that did it. The body isn't right, the engine isn't right, and if you'd bother to read back through the topic......I WASN'T THE FIRST ONE TO POINT IT OUT. -

There's still a couple of massive bugs if you're going to keep claiming this is a V-10 version.... The engine in the bay is a V8, the actual V-10 has different head covers and intake shroud, and is marked V 10 FSI. http://www.seriouswheels.com/2009/a/2009-Audi-R8-5-2-FSI-quattro-Engine-2-1280x960.htm The sideskirts on the model are from the V8 version, the V10 uses slightly different sideskirts. http://www.seriouswheels.com/2009/a/2009-Audi-R8-5-2-FSI-quattro-Red-Rear-And-Side-Speed-1920x1440.htm Calling this a V-10 is like a ricer slapping a "Type R" badge on a base model Honda. -
The transparent engine bay bug still exists in all 3 versions of the car.

Tool831: Toyota Supra RZ [v1.0][7 Versions Released]
Kurgan777 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
You don't seem to understand, DJey's Modding Tools makes it able to swap the cameras you use in any car. Which means you can use a Ferrari camera view on a Jaguar, or whatever other combination you want. -
The rims included with the car are bugged, they're not centered so they wobble around badly. There's also an error in the middle of the driver's side rear window that messes up the reflection.

The camera you choose determines the steering wheel position. -
If anybody has gotten the download to actually work, please post how you did it.

released Tool831: Bugatti Veyron 16.4 [V1.0 Spoiler up down]
Kurgan777 replied to Tool831's topic in Vehicle Mods
Just rename the files yourself to match the Jag XKR, but seriously, the Jag XKR is way too slow to match the Bugatti Veyron. -
Saladine did an SLR sound that's pretty close to that.
-
Re-install winrar, and this time before you download the files, turn OFF the Anti-Virus auto-protect, it can and will delete files in archives before they're fully downloaded.
-
Any other download locations? Because the DL link leads to ifolder, and there's no download there.

Saladine's LP-560 sound works just fine. -
There's no proper SUV camera setups in TDU.

For those interested in better camera options, try the following..... If you're primarily an interior driver and don't use the Hood view.... Ford GT Ferrari F430 The Ford GT Cam gives you an almost perfectly centered steering wheel, but the hood view is very low. The Ferrari F430 Cam gives a slightly off-center steering wheel, but it's alot better than the Ascari Cam. For those who want a good combined Driver's and Hood views.... Koenigsegg CC8 Ferrari F360 The F360 Hood view is a little low, about the same as the Ascari cam, but the CC8 Cam has an almost perfect hood view. It's got nothing to do with TDU itself, and everything to do with the bugged up importer in ZModeler2 that completely screws up the smoothing groups on every piece of the 3-D model. When the smoothing groups get messed up, it makes the high poly model look like crap until it's properly fixed. Plus the lack of a bump map doesn't help things. Without a bump map you only see the reflection off the over-smoothed polygons and not the light reflecting off the texture that's supposed to be there. Almost forgot, there's an interior bug in this car when you press the rear view button, you can see through the engine bay out to the road surface, same bug as the F430 Scuderias had. -
None of the SUV's made so far have had reliable camera views, the game was made for cars and motorcycles, not Soccer Mom Transporters.
-
Maybe start experimenting with different IK options that sit the driver a bit lower.
-
There's still a very noticeable loop above 6000rpm. Stick the throttle at a single spot anywhere above 6 grand and you'll hear it. It's the only remaining problem.
-
OK I see what you mean now. I did some testing with all 3 versions of the car and about 30+ camera options, if you're primarily an interior driver, then the best option is the Spyker C8 Laviolette with the Camera Position slider at about mid-point and the height maxxed out. This will have the steering wheel perfectly centered on the gauge cluster, and low enough to see the full gauges, and you'll even see the "roof" of the gauge cluster over the steering wheel. The only problem with the Spyker Cam is the Hood view is kinda low and far back, but if you don't drive Hood view it's not a big deal. The best options for combined steering wheel view and hood view are... Koenigsegg CCR Farboud Jaguar XJ-220 Pagani Zonda Chrysler ME-412 Edonis. (This one has the steering wheel shifted a bit left) Just leave the IK option set to the F430 Coupe.
-
I don't see what the problem is with that position, you can see the gauges, the wheel isn't protruding into the view, what's supposed to be wrong with it?
