I'm having a problem, how can I save a sound clip at 4 bit in Sony Sound Forge Pro 10?

Couse I looked but I can only find 8 bit plus. And from what I have read, TDU needs 4 bit mono 44.100 Hz sound clips.

The sound is prety good, I'll keep it for now

Okay, as you said in the mail, I don't think you can simply "save it as .wav". TDU requires very specific settings. They are here somewhere on the forum. I might still have them on my Audacity aswell, I'll have a check.

 

[e] I think it's "WAV (Microsoft 4 bit MS ADPCM)" that you need for TDU. Make sure you pick that one, there is another one that is very similar.

Would that be wav microsoft in Sony Sound Forge Pro 10?

Could you direct me to a tutorial of some sort. I moded sounds for GTR 2 and Evo but never for TDU. I would like to start doing so if posible.

I know it's not in tdu but there is mod for it and since is good quality I tought you should know about it. I'll go search for some of the Ferraris you are looking for. Keep up the good work.

Noup it doesn't work, there are all sorts of files in there. I tried it anyway and now the RUF RGT has disapeared. I am runing patch 1.66 with the carpack

I have a problem with it. I used the instaler but all I get is a folder named mods in the root folder of the game and the car doesn't apear in the game. any help on where to put the files manualy would be apreciated.

That also happened to me and without any moding, but after a time I had to reinstall windows and then it worked just fine

You have to find the rest of the challenges. Use one of the detailed maps on the net.

Man, I didn't eaven buy this cars couse of their sound, but now I am, so thanx again. You are very good at sound editing, imagine what you could do if working for a developer. Right now, eaven with Shift out I still think that Pro Street has the best engine sounds of all car games, and you take TDU closer and closer to thows. So really nice job man, respect :)

First of all thax allot:thumbsup:, but there is one big problem for me:confused:. Please let me explane: There is no way I wont get this mod and there is no way I will replace the F430 Spider:sulk:. So can anyone point me i the right direction on how to replace another car preferably not a Ferrari but if it's not posible then the F430 Coupe maybe. Please :D
