  1. Cruising topless on an open road...
  2. Indeed it is hard this week! A lot of great submissions, resulting in 20 minutes of looking at several photos multiple times. Decided on Ryzza5. Don't know why, but I kept coming back to it. Maybe it's the reflective-looking signs? Or the smoking tires that looks like it is grabbing enough to make the corner or might lose it? Thanks for all the kind words and votes so far!
  3. Decided to try something a little different...
  4. hmmm... this is a tough one! Got a lot of great photos here!
  5. Thanks for sharing the link! The FHP Mustang SSP that you have in the picture at a car show, the guy who built that did an incredible job. He spared no expense. Put a stroked 347 in it with some insane amount of horsepower. If I had the money, I almost purchased that one! I recognized the unit number and all of the tacks on the dash! I know the owner through the Special Service Mustang Owner's Association (we're in the club together). I'm also a fan of the Mercury Marauder and Ford Expedition (which I think both of them should make TDU2)! I will have to admit, my favorite picture though is the FHP Mustang Go-Kart! That is insane! I want it so bad! You can see why I favor the Mustang and Expedition... this is my "Ford Police Vehicle" collection... a Texas DPS Highway Patrol SSP Mustang (will me painted original black and white this winter), my 2003 Expedition SSV (Special Service Vehicle) used by California as an investigation vehicle that I use to two my SSP around, and my 1 of 2 known surviving Massachusetts State Police SSP Mustang! Sorry for getting sidetracked, but I get excited every time I talk about cars!
  6. It was a concept from a few years back... it got a fair amount of attention at national car shows, but Ford realized that the market for it just wasn't there at the time. Hopefully it will be like the Interceptor concept where you see it pop up at shows and such every now and then, meaning there might be some possibility that it will return and be made! I for one wouldn't mind owning one! I already have a '96 Bronco and am waiting for the right one from the late '60's! Will always own more Mustangs than Bronco's though!
  7. Just do what I'm doing... browse some other threads and comment when you have something supporting the topic. I'll make another post or two a day and then cast my vote!
  8. Good call! Can't forget the Super Chief! Or the Bronco Concept! Maybe get some older late '60's Bronco's as well!
  9. I was also thinking about the "what do cops stop you for" ideas... There should be a menu with check boxes where you can select a random assortment of things. Like... [X] Excessive Speeding [X] Wreckless Driving (local endangerment) [X] Running red lights and stop signs ETC... This way it could also enable players to do what they want, when they want. I know somedays I feel like taking a stroll around the island and others I feel like testing out the cars, doing 200+mph where I can. Something like this could make it more realistic for when I'm in that "real life" gaming mode.
  10. Hope I'm not too late! Just wanted to post my first image here... been meaning to do these for the last few weeks... just keep forgetting! No Photoshop enhancements (and I think the only one so far that I thought about posting that didn't "need" it)!
  11. DeLorean is an AWESOME idea! Many have already been mentioned but... (and sorry, I'm a Ford guy)... Ford F-series pick-ups (especially the Ford Raptor F-150 and a F-350 or F-650 dually, or both) Ford Taurus SHO (1990 & 2010) Ford GT500 (newer... don't care if it's the 2007-2009 style or the 2010, as well as the 1967) 1969 Mustang Mach 1 (428CJ) 1970 Boss 429 Ford GT (looks like it's already going to be in it) 1979-1993 Foxbody Mustang (such as a 1979 Indy Pace Car, 1982 GT, 1984-1986 SVO, 1982-1993 Special Service Package [my favorite], 1992-1993 Feature Special Editions, 1993 Cobra, etc...) The upgrade idea (Saleen, Roush, etc...) is a great idea for the Mustang! Maybe have a Saleen or Roush F-150 too? To go along with the minivan idea and it being "unlimited," what about 18-wheelers, box trucks, or flatbed car haulers? Maybe have missions to deliver cars on a car hauler to earn additional money (more than just one at a time)?
  12. +1 Well put... I would much rather have a list of parts to add-on and be able to choose what I want to do as opposed to having three different packages. This could also allow you to customize the car little by little as you get more and more money from races and such.
  13. I recently found out that Hawaii has a unique "system" that they use for police cars. Many police cars in Hawaii are actually privately owned, so although they have "regular" American police cars, they have a random assortment of privately owned on patrol (Mustangs, Camaros, Mercedes, Audi, etc...). I think it would be neat to have random "privately owned" police cars drive around as well. Maybe to make it more unique, give us players an opportunity to make one of our cars a police car. When their cars are active, they must have some of their lights on "steady burn," meaning their lights don't flash, they are just on. Maybe before we leave the garage, we can drive it around for fun or have the lights on "steady burn" and try to stop other players. Just a thought... In terms of the use of sports cars as police cars in real life, most cars used were taken in on drug busts. However, there are some sports cars that were made specifically for law enforcement. Camaro's and Mustangs primarily were made with this package option. I don't know what Chevrolet called it, but Ford called it the "Special Service Package" (also known as "SSP"). There is a strong following of these cars as a hobby. Only reason I know is because I'm involved in it! Although I'm not in law enforcement, I've always enjoyed having the option to be on both ends in the game, both "the good" and "the bad!" Just another idea... don't expect this one to make it in, but I'm sure there are others out there that will think it would be a great option!
