The laptop will be fine the Macs are pretty durable I dropped it two or three times during the time I have had it

Gahh I am so freakin pissed right now I just dropped my laptop which had my wireless mouse reciever plugged into it and as luck would have it it bloody well landed right on it breaking the case off it and snapping the connections between the Circuit Board and the USB Tip on it :damnit: :fuming:

Good on you for deciding to go the DSLR route I would if I could afford it but I own a Fujifilm S1600 which is a bridge camera you most of the features of a DSLR but without the interchangeable lenses its not too bad a camera but it has a tendancy to produce noise otherwise a great camera to use
