  1. She's looking good and new :) I like this thread, we can make so much more out of it. Tomorrow or so will probably be taking mine to the mechanic, as I do frequently, but besides a tune-up, need a new speedometer (mine took the crap), a new front tyre, and a camera stand, as I want to record some trips, we should post here some videos of us cycling :) Anyways I need sugestions, on tyres. I have a Continental Mountain King 2.2 as my front tyre (as you can see on my pics), still the first one. Had one of those too as the rear tyre, originally, my 2nd rear tyre was the same, but now, as a third tyre, the mechanic sold me a Kenda tyre, saying it would be better than the Continental one.. I don't really like the Kenda though, unsure as to which one it is. He doesn't sell Continental anymore, and I prefer buying tyres from that bike shop, and have them installed by the mechanic, since I can also get a tune up on the bike. So what can you sugest? The Kenda tire has a lot more drag than the Continental tyre, which had great grip with very little drag for a mountain tyre. Wouldn't mind having a more street like tyre, but wouldn't the bike feel bad with a mountain tyre on the rear and a not so mountain tyre on the front :p Help please!
  2. How does one reach full speed with a Bicycle? :phil:
  3. Now that you mention it, it does, and it was recording at 30fps stable, I also processed it at 30fps with vegas.. However, a sample processed in vegas, recorded with fraps, looks less sharp and more blurry, than a sample recorded in dxtory and processed with the same settings. Will try handbrake next time. Also took this vid with dxtory, ignore teh super slow driving as it was my first time on that track, didn't know it at all. Not so stuttery imho https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ksMoE0hj9So
  4. I've been using DxTory with lagarith's lossless codec, not perfect but much better than fraps imho. My screen's max resolution is 1440*900, so that's my recording resolution, can't expect miracles with that anyways. Took this video with DxTory: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3VAZykNoD8
  5. @ apu A lot of people do so, untill they hurt themselves bad. Hope that doesn't happen to anyone, as I don't wear a helmet either, although I'm getting one soon.

  8. :hi5: My bike is also a MTB :) I don't really speed much, I do however like to pick up some speed sometimes. Since I don't wear a helmet I don't feel really safe going over 40km/h, unless the road has no cars / crossings, as I've had some scares with cars not obeying STOP signs and crossing right in front of me. I should really wear a helmet and I'm not proud of not wearing one, however, not even with a helmet I'd let myself reach 91km/h, unless on a closed circuit. Also Ryzza, I can understand your motives :P However cycling is one of my passions, we could create a little Show your cycling videos thread ahah? That could motivate some people to get their legs working :p
  9. 345km, nice mate :) My topspeed was around 62km/h with my bicycle, not the speedy kind of guy, although I felt like doing my best on that little downhill stretch, managed to get up to 62km/h
  10. Wow, the final result was impressive. Our looks super bright and awesome atm, appart from the scratches idiots made :> Hopefully, they will be repaired within 1-2 months. Should our paint ever start looking dull you are the man I should seek for advice :D About waxing, we used to wax the A6 when we took it to auto washer, but we ain't doing it to the bimmer. We wash it often on manual washing stations with water jet hoses, although we use the finishing spray with wax, but it has little wax there. Once per month the BMW guy comes pick up the car, gives it to their trained sloths, so they can do the treatment and all the treats the car deserves :p (interior & exterior)

  11. Nice pics mate, I'm a cycling fan myself. My biggest trip was around 80km, took me 3 hours, stopped once to eat. Terrain here is not very level so I didn't get much chances to get over 30km/h. I have some pictures of me cycling, took them on a trip, 10 minutes before my front tire going flat, 15 km away from home....FFFFFUUUUU Mobile phone pics.
  12. It looks nearly the same as BF3 to me :( My eye playing a prank?
  13. Bsssst, you forgot this
  14. @Reventon Your last one could go by a real picture to the untrained eye..Had it not had the FSX view writings, and a more contrasty and less bright scenery....sweet Jesus!! Unedited images.
  15. Have a vid I recorded today with the zonda, after having some AWD and FWD fun, thought I'd go back to RWD. I wasn't too good, but meh, I had fun. Ryzza your video made me want to record at bathurst with the focus, unsure if my PC will hold though ^.^ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F3VAZykNoD8
  16. Woooahh this is turning into a bit of a war no? -rep in the mix and stuff...Let's all chill and appreciate the epic pics here
  17. Alright alright ^.^ Enough discussion over that. I wouldn't really consider it a supercar either if I was asked, but I didn't really notice the Supercars on the theme when I posted it, just looked at AWD! Consider my entry null, unless I find something better! :) Nonetheless, great entries here, from everyone, my pic would not stand a bloody chance :D
  18. Welp there goes what I thought was a kind compliment :(
  19. Whatever one does, one must stay AWAY from default jets. The default small prop aircraft are not too bad.
  20. That's a good sign ^.^
  21. Woopsy, you're right. Read AWD cars instead of AWD Supercars. It's not as expensive as the cars in the above entries, but it can keep up with a Lambo on topgear's track :p Anyways if who moderates the contest does agree that it is not a supercar, the entry will be removed. You have a point there milli!
  22. actually that indication of how much they fly it can vary a lot and is not accurate :P Ok this is a good sugestion, stick to it if you wish, but it's really for the best. To learn basic AP commands, chart reading and radio navigation, use the default propellor aircrafts, such as the 172 and the grand caravan. They are great for QDM, QDR, Radial, VOR, ADF, DME, practice etc.. With those mastered, you can ditch the GPS, unless you wan't to know where you are on the map, but you can ditch it for navigating. A great route planner I use is RouteFinder (free access area) After you get the hang of those, practice in addon jets such as pmdg 737 ngx. There is no decent bugfree airbus addon, yet (I think). Practive the use of FMC first, and Auto pilot. Then cold & dark startup, overhead, other systems. Standard and non standard hold patterns, hold pattern entries...All that must be learnt.
  23. A lot of great entries here.
  24. Not that I remember, besides the - and + for zoom and holding space to pan the view.
