  1. Yea, I'm getting the same issue. The server loads up fine, but I don't see anyone else on the island. They should have it fixed pretty soon, I am hoping.
  2. That fixed it, thank you. As you suggested, I will install the models one by one and check after each install, to find the culprit. I repped all of you for the assistance, thanks again.
  3. Maybe I should've left well enough alone. I ran the installer on about 12 skins from Tool and now my TDU crashes after the intro movie. I have Vista 64 and have magic-map.zip installed. I tried putting the magic-map back in and overwriting, but still crashes. I did backup my folder beforehand though, if needed. I think I have that bling bling installed for painting cars, but had no issues before running the installer. I have the newest official TDU 1.66 patch and megapack. 4. Ayyy, that did it. I installed all of those fonts and the program started right up. I have Vista 64 , just in case someone else runs into the same problem. Thanks guys for the quick fix and response. I actually ended up installing them manually from the patch folder, as Kurgan suggested. Now I will use the installer, just to see if it adds anything.
  5. Hi, first time, long time. I am a n00b at installing mod cars, but just installed 8 or so and they work great. Dragging and dropping the files into the appropriate folders and replacing was easy. However, with Tool's installer method, I keep getting an error. Maybe someone can help me fix it. When I go to install a vehicle, it will get an error that says "Sorry, but a critical error has occured: Font 'Tahoma' does not support style 'Regular'. ** 3/19/2010 4:09:50 PM ERROR *** ArgumentException > Font 'Tahoma' does not support style 'Regular'. at System.Drawing.Font.CreateNativeFont() at System.Drawing.Font.Initialize(FontFamily family, Single emSize, FontStyle style, GraphicsUnit unit, Byte gdiCharSet, Boolean gdiVerticalFont) at System.Drawing.Font..ctor(String familyName, Single emSize, FontStyle style, GraphicsUnit unit, Byte gdiCharSet) at TDUModAndPlay.gui.MainForm.InitializeComponent() at TDUModAndPlay.gui.MainForm..ctor() at TDUModAndPlay.Program.Main() ** 3/19/2010 4:09:50 PM ERROR *** Exception > Sorry, but a critical error has occured: Font 'Tahoma' does not support style 'Regular'.
  6. Just like a car mod , this only appears on your own screen. I tested this out about a year or so ago with my brother. I also wanted to drive around with my headlights on. My brother and I have our computers on the same LAN from room to room and we both play TDU. I set my headlights to a key on my keyboard and did the ghetto method of wedging a small, folded up piece of paper in between the keys to make the headlights stay on. I then joined my brothers session and pulled my car in front of his. I went into his room and sure enough, my headlights were not on, on his screen. The headlights were on , on my screen. So, it's cool to use for yourself. It's just a shame that everyone cant see your headlights on.
