  1. I made the samples from this video : Preview link (beta version, the released one has slight modifications) : Download link : http://www.mediafire.com/?x498drj5gc358n2 See also this thread, who made that mod possible : http://forum.turboduck.net/showthread.php?t=17142) Thanks for comments.
  2. I made the samples from this video : Preview : Download :http://www.mediafire.com/?p1ex6n49icmwh70 EDIT : V2 uploaded, V1 removed. Thanks for comments.
  3. 1st link : Volume too low. 2nd link : Not bad but the recording isn't that good. 3rd link : ? 1st link : The dyno volume is too high. 2nd link : Too much echo and parasites. Volume a bit too low. Thanks for searching a 512 TR sound, I really wish I could make that one. Unfortunatly I have searched and searched as well and I never found anything good enough. Good luck anyway.
  4. Too much wind, the volume isn't high enough, too rough at high speed etc. Not the cars of my dreams, but something really exciting finally, someone who have read my requirements maybe :p I've made that Audi RS4 sound as an example, hope you like it (release : http://forum.turboduck.net)./showthread.php?p=285512#post285512)
  5. Well, why not then, who knows? If you can make a link or send by mail, I'll try to see what it's possible to do. I'll cross my fingers in hope a cool mod could come of this and I'll let you know here. Thanks.
  6. I feel like i really like that sound and wish I could make a mod with it, but unfortunatly it's not enough. In first link the volume is too low and the driver goes too slow and in the second link the guy goes way too slow too. There is music in background :( Thanks.
  7. Too short, not enough material. Not sure, volume is a bit low, there's a lot of echo/vibrations and it sounds just average to me. Maybe with a lot of work... Wrong link :p No onboard. No onboard. Nice but no onboard and too short for getting a complete set of samples. No low rpm, too much echo, tyres screeches etc., volume just high enough and too low at high rpm's. The samples would be too short and the mod would just be unexceptional. Too much wind and various parasites to me. Volume too low especially at high rpm. Interesting, not sure. Anyway, I'm already working on a F360 sound mod from another source, it's been posted in the beta sound mods section and i hope to release a final version soon. There's not many onboard material of that car around so it's always a temptation to use the few and average ones you can find. Some interesting parts but it's gonna be hard to get a powerful sound from it especially for the high rmp's. I think i'll give it a try anyway. EDIT : ok, I tried and there's nothing good to do with this. The sound is weak and parasited, there are not enough parts that can be used plus the guy drives too slow so it's impossible to make a good high rpm sample anyway. Nice, already looked at these ones before but found few material I could use really. Should give it another look though. Thank you all.
  8. So I'm afraid it's useless except for samples of idle and startup maybe :(
  9. :mad:EXTREME WARNING:mad: READ THE REQUIREMENTS CAREFULY AND RESPECT THOSE IF YOU POST A LINK. ONLY POST FOR DEFAULT VEHICLES OR BE IGNORED Hi, I'm getting a bit bored with searching and searching during hours for good material (ONBOARD videos or ONBOARD audio recordings) in purpose to make TDU sound mods. So if you know any good (i mean REALLY good...) ONBOARD recordings somewhere on the net (videos from Youtube or dedicated racing sites etc.) and would like to have a sound mod based on it, why not posting your links here? If I really love it, I (or another sound modder interested maybe) will work on it and try my best. These are the basic requirements : - RECORDED ONBOARD (this is essential) by someone who knows what he's doing (forget the amateur records in 90% of cases). Could be on the dyno but in that case you must not hear it at all, which is impossible in general. - Volume high enough with balanced dynamics, even at high or (if not available) middle-high rpm's. - No parasite noises (cockpit echo, music, gravel noises, talking, wind, loud and anoying transmissions, tyre screeches, engines of other cars around, compression artifacts etc.). - Linear, long enough accelerations and decelerations at all rpm's (low, middle and high) and if possible some driving at a constant speed. Please just post stuff that match these requirements, I'm only looking for some good stuff that is hard to find even after hours of intensive investigations. Here are the cars I search in priority : Lamborghini Miura P400 SV, Lamborghini Countach, Ferrari Dino 246 GT, Ferrari 288 GTO, Ferrari 250 GTO, Ferrari 308 GTS, Ferrari 512 TR, Aston-Martin DB4 GT Zagato, Jaguar Type-e, Maserati 3500 GT, Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR, Dodge Challenger RT, Dodge Charger Super Bee, AC 289, Chevrolet Camaro Z28, Pontiac Firebird, Lotus Esprit V8, Ford Mustang GTR Concept, Ford Shelby GR1, Jaguar XJ220. Thanks.
  10. Hi, Are these onboard recordings?
  11. No problem man. Here is an example of a good video that totally worth the time spent on making a sound mod : (Volume high enough with balanced dynamics, no parasites, no echo, no music, no talking, different rpm's, long and linear accelerations or decelerations and even some driving at constant speed (the must), recorded ONBOARD by a professional with adapted microphones set at the right place and not by an amateur with his cellular phone near to an opened window etc. etc.) If you cannot find something like that, or close, don't bother because the sound mod would not be good enough. Good luck.
  12. Wow, thanks for these kickass links man, no doubt that with this i can make the ultimate SLR sound mod. There is no music, the volume isn't too low, there is no cockpit and wind noises like in the mp3 for sure, well done for finding these top recordings. Seriously, I'm afraid that you need more than a 5 minutes search on youtube to find something good.
  13. Sorry man but this isn't a good sound. The recording is poor (engine volume too low, wind volume too high, parasite noises, music etc) and I don't think it worth working on it. Now if you find a REAL good recording I'll be happy to do it.
  14. You are totally right, this loop is too short. I will fix that, help much appreciated mate, thanks.
  15. I would like to, but I'm not sure where to start (I think about changing the offlow loop which sounds weird sometimes, changing the onmid loop for a more linear one, setting a better idle loop etc), any suggestions?
  16. You're right, there's something to be done about that sound level. Thanks for help.
  17. Hi, I have this trouble sometimes : I have a sound mod working and I need to adjust the sound level of a sample. So I use the compressor or the volume adjuster etc. on this sample and re-import it in the bnk. After reloading the sound mod, it doesn't work anymore (no engine sound). Is that normal? How can I fix that? Thanks for help.
  18. Nowhere so far, I'm still working on it. Same for the f288 (I hope soon). btw if you know some good F288 recording post the link please, it's very hard to find.

  19. Thanks, do you mean that I'm not welcome without the sound mods ? :p

  20. Just go to http://www.soundsforsoundmods.com
  21. Well done, but this doesn't sound like a real f288 at all, I wonder where the original modder took his samples from.
