I comprehend what you're saying fine but that doesn't mean I have to agree with what you say. And as for Tool, yeah he was a premium modder and he did the goods in quick time and his quality was superb but at the end of the day that means nothing when people see you for something else. People thought that when Tool left here that TDU modding would suffer but it didn't, as he was just another modder. He isn't the mod god or anything like that he's just someone who makes mods for the community. Or he used to be before he started caring more about status than anything else.
 
And he's left modding what 4 times since TDU modding started if I remember correctly? He'll be back, he'll miss the praise and following he got but to be honest I hope he doesn't come back and I don't mean that in a nasty or evil way. As I feel he had more to do and give to his actual life, and modding was stopping this for a large part. So I wish him all the best and if he does come back then I really hope he really embodies the community spirit of what Modding is all about.

So people can mod it themselves aswell. And there are still a lot to be done, as you should know, since you're developing car physics for your game, you know how long it takes. :lol: I am currently working on "N" brands, Nissan and Noble, once those are finished, i will move on to the next letter on the alphabet.

Yes I already told you how to solve the problem in my first comment.

Before import you can choose how it should split the model. You can rather split it by materials, by groups (seperated objects) or no split at all. I recommend you to split by groups.
 
The problem with ZModeler is, it is not build to handle such highpoly models. If an unsplitted object got more than ~50k polys, it is destroying the model like yours and there is no way to avoid that once it's imported.

Can someone edit the lights on the back of the vw golf? to look a bit like this ..

I think this mod will be one of the greatest successes if it would be implemented ingame as the 911 turbo S is by far the fastest car that is affordable( 180,000$)
