Ah, I was assuming the pre-order cars DLC would be free, in which case everyone had the same game after that DLC is released except for those who got the Casino (if the Casino DLC cost money). On another note though, you can't get the Audi R8 Spyder unless you have the Casino (pre-ordered or DLC) ?

So essentially, what this means is that sometime after 60 days, the people who pre-ordered with a bonus car and those who bought the game after release have the exact same game content. But those that pre-ordered with the Casino as a bonus will have all the cars PLUS the Casino, is that right?

I wonder, if they release all the cars to everyone, that means the preorder bonus is actually gone. But what about those that preordered with the TDU2 Casino? Those will have all cars and the casino (unless the casino gets released for free as well)?

Obviously not on TDU2. I was referring to TDU1 or some other driving game.

This sounds really cool, nice initiative. I would love to be part of this (I think I would prefer to drive the camera car, if I am invited to participate at all). I suggest having multiple persons for at least this job though, since you can't always be online. It makes sense not to have 5 different video editors or something like that, but for this particular job it makes sense to me. Also I think the camera car drivers should be able to choose their car themselves based on their personal preference since they have to be good, consistent and reliable with the car (keep up behind the roadtest car on twisty roads etc). Also, I propose the hosts should have distinctive looks compared to the average TDU2 model. Something like one host wearing an afro if there is one, so you can tell immediately who it is. Yeah, that sounds like a good way of handling that part. Except maybe film a characteristic corner on the timed lap (like gambon where some stars go wide and across the grass before the finish line). I agree with having a race test and choose the fastest person to be The Stig. Maybe also have Stig's Cousin for Offroad cars or whatever. Has anything like this been done before?

Wait a second, at fileplanet they say the key is for this saturday's gameplay. On the gamestar page there's nothing like that. Are these beta codes a one-time-play code and differ from the original beta codes? I don't want to link my TDU2 account to a beta key that lets me play only one single time only to find out I receive a proper beta key a month later or something like that. Surely stresstesting isn't done with one test so I hope I'm wrong?

Yes, that's exactly what we do. And yeah, we also try different spots, but the ones with very few players don't work much better than the super-populated ones. If this isn't better in TDU 2 then I don't know :(

So, I have been searching for an answer to my question on this forum but I didn't find much relevant stuff and tbh I don't even really know what keywords to search for.. (also, sorry if I posted in the wrong subforum) The thing is, TDU's online system is absolutely horrible and gives me and my friends headaches. When you decide to cruise together you pick a spot on the map and spawn there. But the chances that you and your friend connect to the same server are really ridiculously low. And after 50 spawns when you have finally connected to your friend, you or your friend have some massive lag which makes it unplayable. So then you can spend another hour on trying to connect to each other without lag. Seriously, how hard can it be? There are many other games out there (even free ones) with a far more reliable online system. So, does anyone here know some tricks that increase the chances of connecting to your friend in less than a billion tries and possibly without getting lag once you've done it? Really, it makes me rip my hair out trying to get this to work and I really don't want to spend my precious weekend on such a timewaste :(

Well since there is no field in the application form to put some sort of username (only real name), I guess you mean the TDU2.com account.

My Gamespy-ID in TDU1 is different from my TDU2.com account. Does anyone know which one do they want?
