Prophecy

Hey guys, just wanted to throw this out there. Basically, a week-by-week challenge series similar to the Star in a reasonably priced car series that we already have, but based around a few circuits and in cars tuned for time attack. The winner (being the entrant with the fastest CLEAN time) will choose the class and circuit, and any other variables they'd like for the next week's challenge. Pretty simple right? Let me just spell it out to make it even simpler, in the form of this weeks theme. Circuit- Tsukuba full. Car class- A600. Manufacturer's country of origin- Japan. Drivetrain- Any (drivetrain must be stock, no drivetrain swaps allowed.) This weeks winner will use that as a template, adding/removing specifications as they choose, eg. drive type, aspiration, age, etc. Also, dont be afraid to get creative with your car! I've tuned 240z's to A class and run good times with them, engine swaps are allowed unless the theme specifies that the stock engine must be used, so yeah! (drivetrain swaps must be either allowed or not allowed, no grey area, if you are found to have cheated by swapping your rwd car to awd, your time will be invalidated.)

Cant remember when I last added to this thread, so i'll list the most recent mods. AE94 Corolla Seca CSi. Engine is bone stock, and its an auto, lol. Going from front to back, coz thats pretty simple. Headlight casings painted black, AE92 and AE94 grills painted white (because I like a bit of variety). MX83 Cressida lip (added a few days after I picked the car up) 15" 5 split spoke wheels, some cheap brand, they arent permanent, but they wont be going any time soon either (unless I come across a set of BBS RS/replica or TE37s very cheap soon, and thats really unlikely lol). Black trim removed from the sides, ...sony? LOL, I forgot the brand of the head unit... Anyways, new head unit fitted around Christmas time. AE92-94 SX rear spoiler re-painted (was green) and fitted about a month- 6 weeks ago. Super low springs all round (fitted yesterday XD) Refitted the 92 grill yesterday as well, felt like a change. And pics that I took today, because this post would be pointless without them.

So I tried to get back into MCLA photography, but... Not even Forza compares to a real camera anymore... lol.

Theres 3 (possibly 4? I didnt see any Austin Healey in the video...) cars in this pack that interest me, the rest are complete rubbish, as usual... Subaru Liberty RS- OH MY GOD YES. I was only looking at these yesterday, remembering how much I love them. Mitsubishi Galant VR4- OH MY GOD YES. I've always loved these, wish it was the later model, but oh well. Lotus Cortina- AHAHA YES! Always loved these as well, ever since my dad started pointing them out to me at car shows as a kid. Now for the bad... Smart four two or whatever the hell its called. No, just no. Why would you even??? Ford Transit van- NO, the Grand Cherokee was pushing it, no, we dont need vans?!?!! AMC Pacer, ive never liked these things, never ever, they look horrible as well. Jeep Wrangler- uhhhh... no, even worse than the transit van. The 2 that are... ok... Chrysler 300C, well... Actually, I didnt know there was a new model, havent looked into it enough, might be alright. Hennessey Venom- meh, an overhyped Lotus Elise thats a testament to Americas rich people lust for ridicuously overpowered cars to put in a garage and drive to shows to boast about how rich they are. Sorry, not feeling most of the cars in this pack, therefore frustrated.

I dont think that counts Flo, you did no visual mods to that GT3 SLS...

Ohhhhh milli dont remind me how much I want to do that :( Theres no deep dish watanabes, and the only front lip is a racey style chin spoiler, not those cool ones, AND it removes the bumper so it looks... Odd, I do it from time to time, but I wish that look was possible... Great shots mate, i've got one pretty much the same that i've been meaning to take pictures of. Skyrim has stolen my life again ahah.

Might I ask how your pic looks so epic Tin Tin? Not suggesting photoshop at all here, just at a loss as to how it looks so awesome lol. Looks like a mix of Shift 2 and GT5 at sunrise. (P.S. NOT suggesting its photoshopped, just dont know what kind of settings are in use there, none that i've encountered yet.)

Excellent use of contrast, and the flames are so real. Good job on that one photo you managed to get.

V Spec y0 I'm a bigshot. Click here for more pictures in this set. I made this paint from scratch, and if you were thinking Midnight Purple, your correct. Its (imo) an accurate recreation of Nissan's greatest paint, Midnight Purple III. If you want it, tell me which car, and any other details like wheel colour, tint, etc and i'll do it as a design for you. As its hard to get it right, I dont want to give away the paint 'codes'. Nice photoshop! I'd reduce the saturation a bit though, as a general rule of light, colour isnt as visible to our eyes at night because of the lack of light.
