Windows 8.1 asking for activation 5 months after activation
CLR-GTR replied to CLR-GTR's topic in General Discussion
I know, but Ryan told me to get one of the last (or actually the last) preview build of Win10 with a public key and upgrade that one to final windows. I know I can't activate 10 with an 8 key. -
Windows 8.1 asking for activation 5 months after activation
CLR-GTR replied to CLR-GTR's topic in General Discussion
Finally got everything backed up. What I notice is that basically since today, it actually starts interrupting programs to beg for activation. It hasn't done that in the past week but now it actually pulls the blue screen forwards. Tomorrow 10 gets installed. Hopefully that fixes a few issues. -
Interesting interview with Pavel Sebor of SCS at Gamescom, where he discusses the current plans, future plans, the issues they run into and what the vision is of how far to take this series of games.

Windows 8.1 asking for activation 5 months after activation
CLR-GTR replied to CLR-GTR's topic in General Discussion
Called MS and here's my proof: only open during office hours so no saturdays either. Windows 10 will be installed asap, I'm not going to try and fix 8 first. -
the crew The Crew: Car List - [UP29: Mar 1st 2016]
CLR-GTR replied to CarMadMike's topic in Driving & Racing Games
Car on the shot is race spec, they looked closely to the 722 GT. Definitely not a handsome SLR but it gets the job done..... I think.... in SLR-only races....:para: [/media] -
Windows 8.1 asking for activation 5 months after activation
CLR-GTR replied to CLR-GTR's topic in General Discussion
I cánt take a day off to be able to reach em (office hours only support...). If they won't work on Saturday, my first chance will be Monday december 21st... I tried what you suggested. Won't work. I found out yesterday there is stuff missing that's important for activating. There should be a Software License entry in Services.msc, and I don't have it. A 3 hour search session yesterday made as much clear as: there is no other way to fix it other than getting a new key from MS. -
Running a legit Windows 8.1 Pro with all the updates that windows update gave me. Early this week, windows deactivated my key so now I have to reactivate it 4 or 5 months after installing Windows. - Calling function on pc: doesn't work, empty screen, no phone number shows up, no button works except for [Cancel]. - Calling after manually searching for the phone number: only during office times, aka I gotta take a day off from work to do this and they most likely won't work in weekends. - Online activating: doesn't work, can't establish a connection while the internet is up and running. - Entering product code: doesn't get recognized although the ''current used key'' shows the very valid key. - Error code shown is 0xC004F012, a license related service could not be started. - Tried running in safe mode, to enter services.msc, to find Software License Service and start it. It's not in the services.msc. - Tried running malwarebytes for signs of malware that might have done stuff: couldn't find anything. - Did diskchecks: no errors. Any ideas?

It looks like the whole greenhouse has been pushed back by a strong wind and the taillights look molten. It's hideous. And can somebody stop making those ugly boxy wheelarches? It looked good some sportscars but not here. There are better looking SUV's, better driving SUV's and more capable SUV's out there than this. The runningboards are the best parts on the car.

Gamescom is around the corner, which means we'll see some more of ATS. Source: SCS Software's blog: Gamescom is almost here

Ye it really is amazing. I didn't even had the chassis on wheels yet when I already thought: dude, how did you think up all this?! Ofcourse there's a lot of lessons-learned and trying to re-use elements and buildings ways from other sets, then again this one has an entirely new suspension setup, and the pneumatics are quite a bit more complex than I've seen in older sets.

What costed 180 euros, comes in almost 2800 pieces I have to assemble myself via a manual of a good centimeter thick and has a Merc logo? The new lego technic flagship model! For myself quite an experience in several ways. A lot of parts I've never seen before, perhaps because I simply am not thát up to date with lego as I don't buy it every year. The amount of time it took was also a clear indication how things have moved on. When I was 7 I assembled a set called the Barcode Truck by myself and some years later the 8448 Supercar. I could not recall either of those to take a full two days to work on though. The amount of parts was also amazing, from the 12 wheels to I think over 25 bags of parts, not counting in the countless of pneumatics hoses, cylinders and valves that came in their own bag. And almost every bag you opened, had at least one bag full of pins and other ''fastener'' material. The result: one very heavy, large, complex machine with enough pneumatics to earn me a degree in it. I really love this set. It has an interesting suspension setup, an even more interesting linkage system to steer both front axles, and a nice cab with a solid tilt mechanism.

Apologies: Expired domain may have caused you connection issues

Was already wondering why I couldn't reach the site the entire day, I thought maybe my cache was messed up (Chrome starts with the last used session, which always includes the chatbox page tab). Nice to see it fixed again.- 7 replies

The Space Thread: Diablo's Home Planet Found

Pluto: it has a haze around the planet reaching up to 130 km above the surface: And: "Four images from New Horizons’ Long Range Reconnaissance Imager (LORRI) were combined with color data from the Ralph instrument to create this sharper global view of Pluto. (The lower right edge of Pluto in this view currently lacks high-resolution color coverage.) The images, taken when the spacecraft was 280,000 miles (450,000 kilometers) away from Pluto, show features as small as 1.4 miles (2.2 kilometers). That’s twice the resolution of the single-image view captured on July 13 and revealed at the approximate time of New Horizons’ July 14 closest approach." Source: New Horizons | NASA -

We need fusion reactors and warp drive ships, or worm holes. I think in 200 years we got fusion reactors small and efficient enough for space ship installation, and within 1000 years we múst have completed full scale tests with warp drive. If not, you can kiss humanity's chances of being a space race and saving our behinds from this dying rock goodbye. But I think this should be doable. They expect actual fusion reactor power plants within 50 years (ITER is a prototype fusion plant) and NASA is slowly figuring out the theory behind feasible warp drive. -

I read about this, then went on digging a bit because it sounded exactly like the million previous claims they made. And unfortunately it still is, pretty much the same as all other clames (although I know every new claim is a slight bit better than the previous). I just expected a bit more information, considering NASA held a press conference and it's going all over the news at the moment (I heard about this through some fashion tv show lol). But they don't even know for sure if it's a rock surface or a gas planet, so I don't see why this planet needs its own announcement in the media and all previous ones didn't get that. At least we know it's a planet we won't have have to put effort into visiting. -

Here's a slideshow of the funeral service if anybody's interested to see it: Photos Hover over the right upper corner, Volgende means Next (left upper corner = Vorige = Previous). Don't mind the text below the pictures, it doesn't change during the slide show.

Awesome how they took the effort to bend the corners of the plate to make it fit there xD

It reminds me of the Europa Cup in football. My favorite club, PSV, had to play in that cup in the past few years, and they always ended up having to visit remote east european and russian clubs. They don't appeal to begin with, especially not for supporters to arrange a whole mid-week trip to there to visit some run-down stadium in somehow always bad weather conditions (too hot, too rainy, too cold etc). It really takes away all the glamour, appeal and excitement of the sport/matches. I agree it might have been better to put some stuff together as far as dates go. China is also quite far away from the rest of Asian countries and they could have put the middle east together. I wonder what's gonna change regarding to the cars. I keep reading about making the cars faster, more exciting etc, with quite some rules already being applied as early as possible, aka the 2016 season.

Since I didn't find a topic to put this in, I went ahead and made one for next year's F1 season. Apparently the F1 calendar for 2016 has already been announced. It sees a new racetrack in Azerbaijan, and the return of the GP of Germany, on Hockenheim. Wikipedia also mentions the joining of Haas F1, a team founded by Gene Haas who also owns a NASCAR Sprint Cup team. F1-calendar 2016 3rd april: Australia 10th april: China 24th april: Bahrain 1st may: Russia 15th may : Spain 29th may: Monaco 12th june: Canada 26th june: Great-Brittain 3rd july: Austria 17th july: Azerbaijan 31st july: Germany 7th august: Hungary 28th august: Belgium 4th september: Italy 18th september: Singapore 25th september: Malaysia 9th october: Japan 23th october: USA 30th oktober: Mexico 13th november: Brazil 27th november: Abu Dhabi

Very nice! You're also going to add the 2x1 endpipes I assume? How rare or common are white E's like yours over there? Here in holland I only managed to see one for sale, and even in Germany there aren't many of em in white. Does your government not allow plates in other dimensions? It looks weird with that USA trunk lid xD Either that or install a european trunklid... if you can find one in white.

Interesting Automotive Articles [Naughty Ferrari]
CLR-GTR replied to CarMadMike's topic in Automotive Discussion
Just to point at that 190 EVO II, they rarily get over 90K. Super-excellent would be 90-100K maybe but that would almost have to be a sub-500 km mileage car in beyond perfect condition. Most of the well-kept yet driven ones are around 80K. Anything over 100K should be a perfect preserved, maintained actual 190 DTM car driven by a famous driver and collecting a lot of prizes. That pricetag of 700K is only understandable if it's in Zimbabwe currency (no offence, but they're the country with X-million dollar bills). -
Welcome to the internet! I like giving close to nothing about whatsapp etc, especially when I see this xD.
