  1. Chatbox is where it is? You were banned for a moment yesterday evening, perhaps that was it? :p

  2. Another Driveclub photo topic :msuh3::msuh3::msuh3: Favorites of these for me would be the first two California shots and the AMG-GT combo. Those shots look brilliant. How did you get the lightning captured btw, that must mean awfully good reflexes lol xD
  3. I don't really know how to define if a car has soul or not. However, I can't really call the huge bulky looking Conti GT a very exciting design.
  4. I quite like this car, better side silhouette than previous models now that the rear windscreen lays flatter and starts earlier from the roof. Front could use a bit of.... non straight things. Apart from the headlight, skoda logo and license plate text it's so straight and sharp cornered. To be expected with VAG but still.
  5. Ye just saw on their facebook they posted that translation under the poster so forget the regenerative braking stuff. I wonder how far off the rumours are on this car being a Galibier rather than ''another tuned Agera''...
  6. I read somewhere the Reg bit in the name might stand for regenerative braking... :mmmh: Also introduced in Geneva: AMG-GT3  G500 4X4² (that really is its name, that color really is available)
  7. Rumours surfaced of Bentley unveiling a new sportscar, on the Geneva motor show. Not production-ready yet, but a concept to measure interest and reactions for a possible line-up expansion like a sportscar, closer to Ferrari's and Aston Martins. New Bentley two-seater sports GT concept set for Geneva show | Autocar Wonder if it's true though, if I'm correct this isn't the first time Bentley is said to introduce a sportscar (Paris 2012 proved previous rumours to be wrong: no sportscar shown)
  8. From the minimal footage we could see in those videos of the trip to SCS, I'd say texturing should kind of be done by now. No idea when it will come, nothing is known about a new patch in development and I doubt they'll slam it into the Scandinavia DLC.
  9. Are they going to release the DLC one jpg at a time or something? SCS Software's blog: Welcome to Oslo!
  10. Try redownloading the tdu-client thing on the first page and ''reinstall'' it, then follow the readme again. I had the issue too, but after Speeder told me to redownload the file in the first post, it worked.
  11. Apparently they're called ''billboards'' or ''billboard trees''. They are a way of using just 2D planes with trees textured on them, instead of modeling a 3D tree. They rotate most likely due to being targeted at, what I guess, the player. Way of saving on requirements. Was done in lots and lots of games, but nowadays I really don't expect to see them that often except for perhaps small titles. Seems that video shows a mix of a 3d modeled tree base with 2D planes textured with a picture of lots of leafs.
  12. Does Brewer ever give him a break then? xD
  13. I'd give Europa more chances of having life one way or another, than Titan, but who knows. Maybe Titan might surprise us too. It's unique though (keeping Earth out of the list) as a body with land and seas.... Perhaps they can send autonomous Amphicars over there xD
  14. NASA is thinking about a next step in planetary exploration. Orbiters and rovers are old-fashion... bring in the submersible! Just a concept for now but nice to see they're working on doing science behind concepts like this. It could open up new worlds, ofcourse with most thoughts going to not just Titan's oceans but also Europa. Source: Titan Submarine: Exploring the Depths of Kraken | NASA
  15. Most media say it's really a P1/FXX competitor so not just some unusable concept car. That's great. I can't wait to see what it looks like.
  16. Statue gives me more of an Easter European or Russian kind of dictator, something else than the banana republic of part 2. +1 for the song :D
  17. Or people just don't argue and post pictures of racecars... To some Group A is golden too, the cars known from classic rally games (Focus, Evo, Impreza) etc with major names like Burns, McRae.
  18. SCS takes a closer look at the Telemetry SDK. SCS Software's blog: A look on the technical side: Telemetry SDK
  19. Ye already thought so.... strictly made to only accomodate the minimum :p
  20. Modders already know how to import animations right? (windows, doors) Somebody just has to take a longer sit, use videos to analyze the roofs and recreate it. If I was that far into car modding I could import my recreation of the entire SL convertible system (including trunklid, rear deck with flaps and the roof panels). I think it's gonna be harder to code a new slot for it in terms of key-assignment though. But correct me if I'm wrong. Or you'd have to assign it to the window animation (if it supports multiple objects doing multiple translations AND rotations) and include the windows with it, with the compromise that windows down means roof down, windows up means roof up.

  22. Easier done than said :nods: Thanks :D
  23. Thanks everybody :D 25 already.... old fart. Luckilly I'm reminded of that by cards saying things like ''a quarter century already!'' or ''you're already half seeing abraham''
  24. LOL! That's..... pretty bad.
  25. Perhaps one of the coolest, cleanest and meanest looking ones I've seen, though the whole tank itself makes the tracks look outdated xD
