Well ETS2 is one of the easier games to mod since its structure in base has remained identical to the very first 18 Wheels of Steel games. Map mods come in many shapes and sizes... somebody just has to open The Crew and modify the map to import it in ETS2 :D Perhaps lets see if SCS themselves might already take a step in the ''right'' direction with American Truck Simulator. I just wish ETS would sometimes allow to go offroad a little further down the trails than it does now with those invisible walls.

T1M raised the question in the chatbox if it's possible to convert Ibiza to TDU. I initially said yes because I >assume/think/hope< both games share a same world structure (file types, methods of creating height, world sectioning etc). But ofcourse, to get Ibiza ín TDU1, we have to get it óut of TDU2. So then comes the question: are you considering to test and/or adapt the tools for TDU2 world editing (in the future)?

I quite like it, though not the interior color... Perhaps get it reupholstered. Outside looks good though, nice wheels too.

Spoiler alert? It's all Mercedes for me xD Realistic dream car: C216 CL-Coupe, C217 S-Coupe, don't really care what engine but if I could choose a 63 AMG. Realistic first next car: W211 E-Class sedan, most likely 220 CDI, 270 CDI or 280 CDI. It has to be a facelift, so 2006-2009. Very picky on how it looks, though judging my recent scanning of the web I think I'd be going for Avantgarde versions because of the nice dark wood and sportier appearance. Reason I'd go for an E-Class instead of my 4th car becoming a 4th C-Class is just that, I don't want to stick to C's forever. Plus that C-Class cars, except the 190 series and the current W205, have a very slanted design. The noses are quite low and short and the rear ends are high off the ground and extend up quite a lot. Don't care if it helps in economy or stability, I like the more horizontal and balanced shape of the more luxurious cars.

Because Cadillac prices themselves out the market once they arrive on this side of the world (for a part due to economy, emissions etc) and it's hard to mix in among established brands, especially when luxury brands have to take on Audi/BMW/Lexus/Mercedes. Quality improvement in interiors is also not just simply using expensive posh materials. An Audi AG or Mercedes-Benz has whole departments analyzing the click sound of every button, the force it takes to press them, the touch and feel. Most likely they have 500+page documents on how to properly texture plastic and what coatings have to be used. As for the Ford GT though, they just want something lightweight, little equipment etc. Might have gone a tad too far with it though.

And all OS's are 64-bit, no idea if that happened before but alright. They really have to pull it off though. GTA IV as badly optimized, and with the stories Max Payne 3's PC team is handling V for PC, the bar is set. Then keep delaying the game to ''polish it extra'', while one might as well think the delay means they still haven't got it sorted, there could be compromises later on. Ah well in the end it won't matter. People can be unhappy but the games got sold, Rockstar got their money and can focus on a new GTA, and everybody will blindly buy it again :lol: Ye, this will be interesting to find out. EDIT: for those who are still waiting for Heists, the same announcement Tim linked at tells Heists will be released in the weeks AHEAD of launch of the PC version.

Could have seen that one coming since the specs for PC actually had to be released in the week split by the year change. Ah well, time to move on :D

I like it! Not sure about the rather low position of the AC vents on the corners of the dash but I'll just assume it works fine.
