  1. True, because I bet something will be done by ourselves that kills us. But imagine you'd take human self destruction out of the matter, we have a few hundred million years to live before the sun's so bright it's affecting some of the vital stuff needed for life (plants dying out for example). I think we'll be able to travel far well before that turning point. And I also think other races could.
  2. It features Neil, so it's related, period.
  3. Softie already mentioned it once. I wonder if we'd ever find out what really caused/created it...
  4. If it is...... what on 67P (continuing my bad jokes.... what on earth doesn't apply) is blocking the sunlight for it then? I see no shadow large enough now... unless that huge bit of rock stands like a tower.
  5. I wonder if Diablo can give some insight on the amount of accounts suddenly becoming active, or having joined, because of this brilliance.
  6. Hey, they still have a margin. They can have 40 cars actually complete in the game and the rims of 1 car not in the game and it counts for more than 40 so ye. :p
  7. That modern one Huayra (I didn't misspell it!! :D) is a modified version of what every 65 comes with.
  8. - The exoplanet (planet outside solar system) sofar considered the best one to harbour life is 23,6 lightyears away. - There are around 26 known planets within habitable zones around their star, and roughly under 50 lightyears away. - NASA is investigating warp-drive technology that, in theory, allows for faster than light travel. Prototypes are already built for laboratory testing to see if the theory can work, be it on a millionth scale. - NASA is researching and experimenting a form of cryostasis for crew on board a space ship. It would be a more extreme form of "therapeutic torpor" and would allow for ships with a small crew, low amounts of food, low and little comfort and more room for payload. First tests with 1 week ''sleeps'' have been promising, but it still requires some time and a lot of work to get it done. Nothing, is impossible.
  9. That's what I thought. I kind of found it cute how the lander and orbiter seemed to be living personalities.
  10. That will happen with anything I post. I could have also posted an old Atego for sale here at the dealership but Mike said ''no lorries''. :p And I'll just use the R500 then :p
  11. Well Rassva did smart by choosing a rather base one, with a simple paint and unpainted bumpers/trim. That's cheaper to fix. But I on purpose went for something that looks just a tad less typical.
  12. Family car: Mercedes R500 €22.500,- Because it has 4 doors, 6 seats and it's something different and rare. An S-Class in comfort, wrapped in a cross-over with AWD. Work car: Mercedes Vito 113 CDI €16.950,- Actually wanted an El Camino but the bed is too small and not covered, at least not on the one car I had in mind to enter here. This will do then. An actual van... bright red lol, but plenty of space :D Classic car: Chevrolet Camaro Z28 Targa €22.500,- Ow yes. V8, targa, black. I love the mean and clean looks on this thing. Red interior could have been less INYOFACE(....) but alright. And 1987, so a pre-90's car. City car: Mercedes A170 3-door €11.350,- Doorcount on these cars doesn't matter, the car itself is the same length, and it's smaller than a Fiesta so it applies as a small car. I like the fact it has a higher entry than other cars, and I just love this specific car with AMG alloys, COMAND radio/nav and panoramic roof. That leaves me with 1.700 left.
  13. For whoever's used to metric units, 40 miles per imperial gallon (not US gallon) is 7.1 liters per 100 km.
  14. I haven't seen it yet but it's on my list to see it, just like Gravity. I háve seen Moon (2009), Love (2011) and Europa Report. Imo great movies with space as setting but very different stories.
  15. Another one for scale: UY Scuti, largest star in the universe. If placed on the position of the sun, Saturn would be under its surface...:ill: As for our own sun btw, commonly accepted way it will die says it will grow up to Mars' orbit.
  16. Maybe he made up for it by slightly modifying Philae: www.youtube.com/watch?v=neoUi4poCXI
  17. We've only discovered such a small section of universe that we shouldn't even consider it an achievement, yet we keep finding new planets, new planetary systems and even systems with planets within the habitable zone of their stars. If there's ice, there's water, so the planets that actually can support life are there. I go the step further like many and say we can't be alone. We can't be the only living things, Earth can't be the only planet containing life. Also what is difficult for some is to understand life like we don't expect it, living in places where we don't expect it. Think of deap see stuff, living near all those thermal vents, with no light. It shows life can exist nearly everywhere. I hope I'll witness the first humans on Mars and with all those studies and concepts out there under investigation it surely must happen within some decades. Here's something to watch for y'all. Practically not possible, considering Roche limits, emission of radiation and what not, but kinda cool to imagine. Watch them full-screen, the actual stuff it's about is good quality so ignore the low quality intro animations. Not typing these with youtube tags on purpose, get surprised :p
  18. ESA confirmed it bounced up 2 times before actually landing and STAYING there xD
  19. New update about to come: Correct dashboard illumination colors!

    Hello.

  21. Nice pajamas.
  22. And Heists are coming! Source: GTA Online Census: The Story So Far | Rockstar Games
  23. Oh if we're adding races... I watch Motors TV for the V8 Supercars and Utes. I also watch the 24h of LeMans and ADAC 24h, but on the pc.
  24. @Merc: no that's one of the few bikes I've never seen the episodes of on TV. Eventually I did see some parts of that build on Youtube and I've seen pictures here and there of the bike itself. @Llama: ye it was a great show. I loved how they managed to end up with such different approaches and hoping they'd really pull it off to get the tasks done.
