  1. These latest articles and videos have given me some hope towards the game.I honestly hope they aren't showing MORE because they decided to, not because they can't.Oh well, I suppose we'll see when it comes out, would be nice to cruise around.Sounds are not perfect, but they are nowhere as near as dissapointing as TDU2's were.
  2. I agree, it's a wiser choice to sell your actual GPU and then spend the money on a more powerful graphics card, I don't know what your budget is, but you could look at an AMD R7 270 or a nVidia GTX750Ti.
  3. ^ There's just something about wierdly powerful estates that make me feel fuzzy inside. Meanwhile, a "cold"(:D) blue GT3.
  4. Invest the money you have left from the CPU investment in a GPU and I'm pretty sure you won't feel sorry you spent more money on your GPU than your CPU.As far as "lousy" cores go, the FX8350 is better in any way, but it isn't necessary unless you absolutely need one.I for one went full retard when buying my CPU+Motherboard just because....I had lots of money back then, spent about 500$ on them. Now, honestly, I would have rather went for a "locked" i5, a cheaper motherboard, and a better graphics card.Ofcourse, the CPU will get old and will start bottlenecking your "new" video card at some point in its life, but when that happens, you can easily upgrade to something more powerful. And considering the development in CPU's that we're seeing every year so far, I don't think you'll have any problems for 3 years or so.
  5. He would have to chance his motherboard to get an Intel CPU, so I don't think that's a valid option. In my oppinion, seeing that your needs are pretty much normal and don't exceed normal use, go for the FX-4350, no need to shell out more money for something you won't take advantage of.
  6. Honestly, I fear this game may underachieve, I don't think it could reach the status of a TDU successor, mainly because it looks like there hasn't been too much evolution in the development into the game.I may be wrong, I actually hope I am, because this looked promising at first... Maybe we'll have to wait for Eden to do their final job afterall.
  7. I honestly don't think this was that much of a bright idea, might have just called it a special edition of the 12C, call it a facelift if you will, but this is not a new model in my oppinion. And just a personal sidenote, can't they build anything besides that 3.8TT V8?:D
  8. Well, I haven't been quite that active in this community, and certainly haven't been here for a long time, but I'd like to get involved.I have loads of free time on my hands, and would be happy to help, and since I like to write, this wouldn't be a bad way to help this community. If it's okey with the rest of the community(being a fresh member here), I'm willing to write articles on these subjects: Assetto Corsa - Facebook info(Main page+friended developers), RaceDepartment, and various other sources. This is so far the only game I am really dedicated to, but as far as paying attention to gaming news, I could post interesting news once in a while, since I've pretty much seen what this community likes.(it's not that hard, is it?:D) Now, as an avid Chris Harris fan, I would gladly cover this subject, being able to cover anything he throws out on the internet, from written reviews to videos.Same goes for Top Gear. This depends on how much content is needed. That's pretty much it:). P.S: I do have to get acquinted with WordPress, I have no idea how to use it, but I suppose it's not hard, is it?
  9. To be honest, if you would have asked me when they were announced, I would have said LaFerrari right on, big V12, awesome new hypercar from Ferrari, what's there not to like? But now, Porsche has proven they can build a hypercar that can revolutionize electric and gasoline power use, because let's be honest, it's the only electric hypercar out of these 3 that really can rely on its electric engine when track use is not mentioned, but no matter how much I love Porsche's, or how impressive it is, It doesn't really give me that childish buzz and passion like the other two do.The LaFerrari (god damn it sounds wierd), while I still think is better looking than the P1, really seems to struggle to keep the pace of inovation that McLaren and Porsche have brought to the table.I bet it's going to be one of the best, rawest, wildest hypercars available, but at the moment, I just cannot imagine anything being more impressive than the P1.The use of the electric engines, its incredible aerodynamic properties, the sheer brutality of that V8 Twin Turbo, which for some reason sounds like it came out of a street car, that "WHOOOSH!!!" sound from the blow off valve, the way it explodes on throttle use, accompanied in the low RPM range by the electric motor is astounding.Ofcourse, my view on these may change, well, at least about the LaFerrari, since it hasn't had any media coverage, while the P1 has had lots recently(hint, Chris Harris video next Wednesday). Personal oppinion, may be flawed, please ignore if it shows any kind of fanboyism, it's just sheer excitement, which I don't often feel about other cars, without having driven them:D.(not this much) P.S: Wouldn't it have been nice if we had a competitor (seriously, not Veneno) from Lamborghini as well, to give these things a run for their money, something extremely LAMBORGHINI(well, wild). We probably won't see this happen too soon, but fingers crossed:).
  10. No, there's a DLC( Downloadable content) due in September, and if you pre-order it 1 month after the release of the actual game, you get it 50% cheaper(the DLC).
  11. Am I the only one that wants to fast-forward time to when the DLC comes out?:D The developers still surprise us.No Porsche, but I guess there is no worthy substitute for Porsche other than RUF.Hope we get a modern RUF as well, I honestly love every iteration of the 911, since the original, to the latest 991. I guess we're just going to have to wait till September...sigh At least I have time to save up for a G27.
  12. Beautiful car, nice colour and rims as well.BTW, is it stock as far as engine mods go? That intercooler doesn't seem stock.
  13. Welcome to the forum! It seems romanian people have a special attraction towards this place:D.
  14. Whichever path you choose, the result is going to be similar.A new CPU will improve performance, but not by a huge margin, since the GPU will still be the "old" one, however, a new GPU will improve performance, but not even close to its full capacity, due to being bottlenecked by the CPU(if not familiar with the term, google it).I would advise buying a CPU first, since it will have an impact on everyday use as well, while the GPU won't, at least not in the same amount. Then later on, in the future, you can buy a GPU without fearing that it will be extremely bottlenecked by the CPU.
