1. I'd agree with you if only the Agera wasn't already gimped by having too much torque and wa-ay not enough grip. If you aren't on an arrow straight stretch of road you can forget about having any advantage at all. The car fishtails like crazy at a very slight input and the output of the torque seems to fluctuate a lot, making it difficult to control with throttle positioning as I would do normally. I'm also pretty sure the gearing is off, since second gear does next to nil and sixth is tall enough to get you within 10MPH of the perf spec speed cap. The Agera is a gimmick in my opinion. Even when cruising I find no reason to drive it, it's just too much of a pain especially when I can pull the '69 Charger, BNR34 Skyline or even the 370Z and have an easier time of driving in a straight line. If it had a real-steel accurate top speed then at least it would have something to differentiate it from the competition.
2. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=13-XSrgFl-Q Not my usual fare, but it's undeniably enjoyable. A nice change from my usual aggressive Rock tracks.
3. You'd be asking the same question inversely were the south's story missions exclusively Perf spec. Ponder that for a moment.
4. Allegedly the massive wheelspin on certain cars was amended. I have yet to test my Agrea which was one of the cars.
5. Don't buy the SL65. It has no brake disks. EDIT: Or calipers. It also does not have wheel hubs. Or axles. EDIT 2: Or struts. Or wishbones. Or any kind of suspension gubbins outside of the wheel and tyre.
6. On some of the street faction events the AI just rubberband right past and crank up to 200MPH in a split second, it's a joke. Watch the blue Z4 in Long Road to Duty, that car is a fine example of the type. In the run I made on Colorado Crawl the AI kept with the entire time just via rubberbanding their way up to me. I don't know where or how I cut almost 4 secs of Ryzza's time but I attribute it all to the dinner table front splitter. Brings good luck.
7. I'm a bit hesitant to sign. The whole reason why it isn't just a flat 14 years across the board is because not all pedestrian or cyclist deaths in traffic incidents are caused by unsavory people. In this specific case hell yeah I'd push for max sentence but the petition doesn't specify as to if it's specific to people driving under the influence/people with prior convictions/people with multiple charges. If it did I'd be happy to sign but it doesn't. So ultimately I don't know what I'm agreeing to/supporting.
8. The one reset is because one of the AI cars threw me right into a canyon for no discernible reason.
9. If maybe this time we can schedule it for a time where I won't be in bed, sure. EDIT: That'll be difficult though. I'm a lazy racer.
10. Sweet Perf spec RUF you got there. I wanted to buy one when I got to Vegas but thought poorly of it after the test drive. The Z4 took my fancy.
11. Sorta kinda; I could afford one of the muscle cars but exotics was a hell no. You need to join the PvP grind for that. It's a wonder I even scrounged enough cash for that Agera I bought
12. Primarily close third person. Very rarely will I switch to cockpit if I'm just trundling around a city or narrow country road.
13. It took me about 12-13 hours of back to back races and including driving between locations. I did not use the fast travel system(yes the trains and planes constitute fast travel).
14. I always forget quite how good DiRT 2 can look when I'm not charging around at 120MPH; even on my junky rig.
15. For challenges you may want to enforce a spec to keep things at least somewhat even; but if we are doing the cruise by road rules then it really doesn't matter.
16. The list IS empty because I don't just send or accept random requests and I HAVE to use uPlay launcher for The Crew; I just don't use it outside of when the game is running. Even then I feel like I need to sprinkle the screen with holy water and make a couple passes over the HDD with a cross
17. You send me a request. Simple as. I play the game often enough that I can just accept requests on boot. Reason why the uPlay ID is in the siggy. All you need to do is be like "Initiative just kicked in y0!" and type that junk into uPlay.
18. Aye, I'm interested alright. uPlay friends list is empty 'cuz I don't use that cancerous platform unless I'm booting the game so the only "cruising" I've done in The Crew has been solo or through spontaneity and likeminded pubs. It was fun then, so it can only get better with an organised group right?
19. To clarify, the health system has no performance impact prior to running out of health points on a certain vehicle, but at that point you'll have more than one vehicle anyway so you could simply switch cars. It is simply a visual indicator of an arbitrary number prior to the bar ticking down to zero.
20. You can repair cars right from the get go when you get your HQ, it's one of the options in the Workshop submenu and you can do it via your PDA when on the road if you spec into a certain perk. Vehicle health reduces slowly over time; unless you have a habit of crashing into things, then it's slightly faster. At low vehicle health the vehicle will sustain some permanent visual damage which will not simply disappear, you must repair the car to get rid of it.
21. I have noticed this. The car does sound like it's bogging at times, this I typically solve with a bootful and some NOS since the R34 is one of the few cars that can actually accelerate under NOS in the first place.
22. Not the first example of this. AI cars are pre-set, presumably they already have some parts done for those specs but they are not ready for release to the public. There are a couple RAID cars that we can't get (EG: R34 Skyline), Circuit cars ('69 Charger, GT500 Mustang) the list goes on. Old news.
23. '69 Charger Street and Perf specs. Both with '68 front facia swaps.
24. While off at the shops to buy myself a new derp-pad I spotted this: Nissan Pulsar/Sunny GTI-R. Poor image quality is a result of a shaky hand and not having a camera on me.
