I tried to make the reflections in nighttime a lot better, but since there isn't any light I pretty much had to boost them to unreasonable levels. Yes, you can modify it quite easily. Go to Euro=>Bnk=>FX. If you're using HDR, open Weather_HDRI.ini, if you're not using HDR open Weather.ini. If it asks, open it with Notepad++ (If you have it) or just the regular Notepad if you don't. Find the weather that is called "DARKNIGHT" and "MOONLIT". There are many values below these names, you need to find this one "CARREFLECTIONLUM = 2.00". This basically controls how much the light affects the car or otherwise said, if you decrease this value, cars won't shine as much. Unfortunately, traffic cars will shine more than your own one at night, no matter what. The positive of that is that, they'll be easier to spot when you're driving fast. Either way, if you change the value from "2.00" to "1.00", your car will shine a LOT less. You can mess with that value until you find the amount that suits you best.
 
If you have any issues figuring this out, just tell me and I'll correct the values and send you the files.

GUYS I FIGURED IT OUT! SHOULD WORK FOR EVERYBODY NOW. Every time before you run the game you have to turn off "Disable display scaling with DPI". Then BOOM! You are good to go!! No need for all the extra stuff i think.

New PC windows 10 Crashing
 
So i finally got my 4k UHD rig and TDU is crashing as much as possible. Game loaded like once (after crashing 4 times) then never again. Just keeps on crashing at launch. Anyone can help? I tried all the compatibility settings, they do not help one bit.

Finally, the sun sometimes, and the actual ingame weather from outside, visible from inside buildings.
Weathercycle apply to everything but car rent, and painter, done.
Not released yet.
Next step, doing special weather for at flat, car dealers, traders, at night.

What's up guys! Here it is my first ever mod - sound mod for RB26 Nissan,stock engine ofcourse ;).
Its just version 0.9,but i think its pretty good. So i'll work with it more to make some updated versions like sound with turbo hiss etc.

Today I've started to converting sound from NFSU2. First attempts are not so bad. You can rate it by the video preview. :)
I have had used only "ON" samples from NFSU2,'cuz didnt quite understand how to rec "OFF" samples. So when i'll get how to rec them,it wud be great. Stay tune,if u interested ;)

Cameras overbloating attempts
 
Hi everyone,
today, we'll try to use TDUF tools to make something good :evil:
 
Now it is known that a lot of camera sets are missing to handle bunch of new cars which will be added as totally new slots.
Thus, I've modified cameras.bin file the following way: duplicating an existing camera entry (#108) to a new one (#10108).
 
For your information, this camera is the one used by the ASTON MARTIN DB7 Zagato.
 
Are there people willing to try it :
- it should not brake existing TDU configuration
- this new camera id (10108) is meant to be freely assigned to an existing vehicle (CarPhysics_Data).
 

 
To apply, unzip and copy file below into Test Drive/Euro/Bnk/Database directory. Please backup existing cameras.bin file before trying anything!
 
 
If it works, it might be possible to duplicate all existing cameras - my goal is having clones of existing at id + 10000.

Note about second attachment:
This brand new file contains 149 camera sets more, which are clones of genuine cameras sets. And can be customized without affecting source sets.
 
Feel free to test with your game.
 
With car physics, simply add 10000 to original camera set id to use the new one :)
e.g To use clone of camera set #108 (DB7 Zagato), use set #10108.

TUTORIALS
Below, a guide how to use TDUF CameraTool (available in version 0.5+).
 
Prerequisites
TDUF toolset must be installed and working normally. See TDUF thread and README in zip archive for details.
 
A. Duplicate a single camera set
Available from TDUF 0.5.
Given its #id, you can create a brand new camera set from it.
 
Syntax: CameraTool copy-all-sets -i "cameras.bin" -o "new cameras.bin" -s sourceCameraIdentifier -t newCameraIndentifier
 
 
 
 
B. Duplicate all genuine camera sets
Available from TDUF 0.5.
These are all camera sets ranging from #1 to #10000. TDU with Megapack gets 149 camera sets.

C. Re-use a view from a set to another
Available from TDUF 0.8.
Given #id of source and target cameras + view type, you will be able to replace view in target camera by the one in source.

To tell you the truth , about the road D4-01 (bumpy one on the mountain), still Not a single good idea has come close to and knocked at my brain door yet and the design of sidewalk of each road remains lame I'm not so satisfied with that parts though

Furthermore, I always enjoy comments and opinions by others so don't you dare NOT share! :) Enjoy everyone, and of course there will be more to come in the future! PS : If there is a car that you like, and you can find kickass quality vids with good sound (on throttle, camera by exhaust, near level tones); dont be afraid to message me. You might get lucky!
