Atomic Dragon

Just started freezing on me for no reason. I did as instructed, but it does not help at all.

Tried all of that and it still doesn't work. This thing just stared to do this even though I used this game for a long time with no problems.

I know it's an old thread. but I am getting the same problem with several different drivers, reinstalls, and profiles. I have an ATI HD 3850.

My Processor is a 2.8Gig Quad core, but my video card is only a HD3850 Not a 3870. Close! looks like I need an upgrade at a time money is short. :(

A reply... NASCAR is harder than it looks. Stock cars are a handful to drive. Loads of torque coming out of the rear Wheels. You have to be very careful accelerating out of the corners (on the shorter tracks with less banking anyway). Real easy to spin out, and driving as close as they do can turn even the smallest mistake into disaster. I like the technical aspect of F1 and sports car racing, and it I find them more entertaining to watch on TV, but I find NASCAR tracks to be more spectator friendly when watching from the stands. NASCAR is not my favorite style of racing, bit it does take some skill to pull off even if it doesn't look that way. I am beginning to develop a taste for Rallycross for some reason. Just have to add it to an already large list of racing disciplines I already enjoy.

I wish I had my camera ready yesterday. I saw a yellow Renault Le Car drive by. When was the the last time you seen one of those? On occasion I drive by someone while on my way to work who drives a red Early 80,s Studebaker Avanti II, though not recently due to the snowy weather. I am not sure if the Studebaker name was on the Avanti II though.

Hi Everyone. I am not sure if there are any benefits of my presence on this forum, but I have arrived just the same. I will try not to ask too many dumb questions.

I have V1.66 with the Megapack When I installed the Megapack I kept getting the network connection lost whenever I entered the map function. I read a thread that told me installing Magic Map could correct the problem. I installed the proper version that works with my version. I can enter the map function now, but I am prevented from entering races, timed events, and speed events. I can, however, enter Hitchhiker, model, and delivery events. I don't know how unique this problem is. Any help would be appreciated. I thank you for your efforts in advance.
