  1. If you're a fan of mechs blowing stuff up this looks very promising :) It's an indie game but they are building it on the Unreal 3 engine. IMO this will be a good rival to the Mechwarrior mod of Crysis. Here is a gameplay video as well. That large airship makes me curios  and I hope there will be more than just 1 map in the final product.
  2. Excellent shots Sir! I love the one you did with the Bugatti with dried colors. The tunnel shot with the Zonda in the last batch is killer.
  3. I had this bug a couple times as well but not in the past 2 weeks. Solutions I found were to exit and enter the garage, restart the game or just fiddle around the house until the drive button appears again in the car selection menu.
  4. :( Making money in the Casino in a car game just doesn't feel right. Everyone not willing to pay for that DLC must grind 20k races for ever. Multiplayer races are not the most reliable sources of income.... It would be nice to have one of the 50 min races generate at least $1mil. That way i would have a good pass time every day making money to get all houses and cars while driving around the beautiful islands.
  5. Dead dashboards (like the missing gear indicator on the 458) and others where there should be LCDs coupled with horrible windshield tinting in some of the cars and lack of FOV settings (called seat position in TDU1, and i think the cam hack is useless online) take all the fun out of cockpit view.
  6. I agree with t. We need the option to sell cars, then get all sorts of every day drivers. Although the Challenger is enough if you ask me The NFS Porsche brings up a sore point for me. How did Eden, who also did that small marvel of a game with very deep car tuning options get TDU2 tuning so wrong?
  7. And why oh why have they taken out so much from the original. All the nice options in the car (moving seat, chronopack) I said i was happy with winamp in the background but the originals soundtrack seemed a lot ... beefier and customization made it even better. The perfect finish prize like Diablo said What ever happened to drafting???? Why is tuning in the world of TDU 2 made of spending top dollar for a chiptuning getting you extra 15 hp on level 4?? TDU1 tuning options were a lot better than this sad excuse. Ibiza is modelled well, roadsurface is mostly smooth but Hawaii is just as crappy as the TDU1 model. Every elevation change comes with a sharp edge where your car bottoms out or goes airborne. The fact that car suspension is hardly simulated does not help with this issue. You have all the minuses compared to the old game, you have a host of new glitches and peple complaining about them messing up the flags of all things?! People finder on the map should have a lot more options too. Plus the whole experience is not really new as it is mostly the same game as the old. And why did they not keep the old car list and add the new ones on top - Lamborghini of course since that is not a driving game worthy car. It is a good thing there is a DACIA Sandero fan club tho :| Despite all that this game is still a ton of fun. Last night i revisited the hillclimb of the Hawaii cup comparing the Zonda and the Bugatti. Amazing good fun, getting consistent times was a blast plus I made 20k cash on every run. Seing the differences between these cars was an excellent eye opener too.
  8. I am not bored with TDU, I just feel it is such a lonely experience. You have all the facebook gimmicks ingame but so far I only managed to do 1 out of 3 cruises with the other person not disapperaing and that happened becasue they were not in my friends list. I find it very hard to hook up with people not on my friends list from the people finder ingame. The selection options on the people tab of the map are very poor and the refresh rate is ... nonexistent. The people I find while driving around are mostly obsessed with finding wrecks or hanging around an airport. It is very rare I stumble upon someone willing to drive more than 5 kms decently. Tried doing some ranked races but those are just depressing with all the Veyron dodging that needs to be done. I exagerate, I did have some races where I had great fun but I just hate it when people start taking offroad shortcuts and ramming my side just to spin me out. In the end I can play my selection from Winamp in the background, I can get around the ultra weird physics but I just can't get around the fact that another multiplayer game has a horrible community and it is so hard to find decent people online.
  9. Looks like you all had a fun cruise. It is such a shame these are the circumstances... I also have a 'Go Japan' car since before the catastrophe, hope noone minds if i put a couple pics here. If it offends anyone please delete. http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae144/lowp1ng/TestDrive22011-03-1021-44-44-11.jpg http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae144/lowp1ng/TestDrive22011-03-1021-44-35-52.jpg http://i966.photobucket.com/albums/ae144/lowp1ng/TestDrive22011-03-1021-44-24-68.jpg
  10. Depends on what AV you are using. AVG for example has a lot of false alarms. If you are sure the program was clean, you can try to get it again somehow and add it to your AVs exclusion list. Actually adding entire game folders to the exclusion list might help with performance since the resident shield will not read it at the same time you are using it.

    My SRT-8

That is quite an upgrade! Keep the 89 as a winter car though... You never know when a beater will come in handy! Careful with the powa as it might provide some unwanted entertainment on rough surfaces.
  12. I would like to join for some cruising action :) In game username is Mistery.
