I resent this. Hot Pursuit embodies what NFS is all about paradox. HP was the BEST NFS made since NFS HP 2 - which was about 10 years ago... I think Criterion should make ALL NFS games from here on out, Black Box was great before EA consumed them - I think more games like HP is what NFS needs to get back to it's roots.

Now the votes are getting skewed how I thought they would... more bad games getting votes. I figured it would happen - Most Wanted and Undercover got votes :fp:

Again it depends on which branch of Rockstar wants to push more. I agree however, I see MP3 coming out early next year, with GTA V for the holiday season.

I think they'll push MP3 back to be honest, Rockstar is going to push GTA V hard now that it's official.

I disagree, the two games are made by two different branches of Rockstar - What we know for certain is: 1. They've been working on this game for at LEAST a year. (more likely 2 or more) 2. They've made hints at it being in San Andreas OR Vice City. (I think a new city won't happen) 3: As pointed out earlier it's GTA V - Not GTA: SA 2. So there is a massive improvement in this game to earn it a numerical title. This could be playing multiple characters - or it could mean it will debut on the next-gen consoles. (I find next-gen consoles impossible to imagine, as the Xbox 720 won't be unveiled until 2013 - and sold around 2014, and that's a LONG time to wait considering the trailer is out in 7 days.) Enjoy reading more speculation about where it will take place - it seems Washington D.C is really popular! I might be wrong about the new city thing... Click here.

This exactly. NFS isn't about modding and ricing out your car - to all you kids out there who think that, you are horribly incorrect. The most recent NFS (HP) was a success because it went back to the true values of the series. NFS III: HP is the best of the series hands down in my opinion. It was a pain at times, but it was just such a good game. Anything with "Hot Pursuit" in the name I have been astounded with. Great thread by the way :)

Well I'm excited. We get a trailer in a week!? Wow... I might remind all of you that Rockstar is genius at throwing people off their scent - They might be pushing VC but it doesn't have to be set there =P Hopefully we can have a 2012 release date instead of 2013.
