Thanks guys. I was wondering about this forum at first; it seems to first and foremost be a forum for TDU enthusiasts, meaning the first version and then some support to TDU2, but kept to a minimum, which I totally understand, but does this forum also have a wider spectrum of target audience?
I mean, do you guys also know the inside out of RL engines and mods etc and have done your own cars or is it more for virtual car stuff?
Just in case both, I could just shoot: ;)
- Any know the exact weight of a PFS intercooler kit for the RX7? (13b-rew engine intercooler kit) (Race or standard IC kit doesnt matter, but would like both if you have them, cant find them on Google)
- Regarding controls for cars in TDU games and other car games: What would you recommend?
-- I've been adviced to either get a controller and if I did to get an X-box controller for PC, or to get a Wheel and pedals and then to get Logitech G25 if I went that way for maximum real controls for maximum "real" feel.
Sorry to put this in the hello thread, but I was kinda hoping it wouldn't be to OT( :rtr: ) being connected to the forum target aiming circle
Btw, love the smiley collection, though I have some awesome ones too, where can I suggest new ones at?
Oh and a little more about more self, carwise:
- Mazda MX-5 NB. I'd so like to mod one, one day, just to get some other engine in it, that doesnt weigh too much as its paramount to keeping the weight in the car low, so I was thinking a small sub-200ci/3500cc V8 all alu 32v dohc thingy but can't make up my mind which one. Apart from the LS range which seems too heavy, there are the race engines around but they are too expensive atm. Any got a good engine in their mind at sub-200ci/3500cc V8 at less than 250 lbs dry weight that punches out 200+ hp naturally aspirated and doesnt cost more than $15K? (I dont like V6s and 911 B6 is too expensive I think)
..I could go turbo, but then its lagtime or ruin the engine with anti-lag measures or supercharged, but if I went that way I would probably get a 13b-rew instead(351lbs all included with tranny). The 13b-rew in alu if i can afford it(then sub 270 lbs).
