And I just was talking about FRIM. There are some more and better possibilities, e.g. the casino, but not everyone has the casino...
Maybe you can find a generous friend who races instant challenges and let you win. In that way you can win 50k in about 2 minutes, that's 1.5M for one hour.

With the TDU2-UP rewards for individual races have been beefed up, including a race around Oahu for 1Million and a race around Ibiza for 750.000. Best way to get some extra cash and doing it by driving, as it should be.
 
Maybe FRIM can be increased. I always wanted an extra level L3 @ 25.000 and a 100.000 for each 1000 miles driven.

Maybe Diablo can add an Uber Modder Badge. For those that made over 100 excellent car mods* for the TDU2-UP :nuts:

the way I see it the modders do what they want to do, and we enjoy the product. Think about it guys! we are getting these amazing quality mods for FREE! the modders don't really get anything out of it. be happy with what we're given!

No not by me anyway. As it has been said TDU2 is about the high life and not driving your every day lets face it crap car.
You really want them learn modding like i did. Sure it's not a quick process but if you want them learn and stop bitchin about it.

Although i'm not using Steam i think i can say don't worry about a ban. It will not gonna happen. There is nobody who has an eye on it. ;)

Please don't stop! The patch was my biggest inspiration!
It really is so good that it would be a real shame to loose it! :(

I spoke with Xarlith and he said that StarGT must be working on his own to make a patch. So his work is in no way related to v0.5 as Xarlith is the projects leader. So anything he posts in here should be deleted. I asked Xarlith to basically say some regarding this but he hasn't. As me saying this means nothing to the admin as they require the original poster to say some thing.
 
If no one says some thing within 24 hours about what the heck is going on i am done witch this patch.

So you now want StarGT to scrap the BRZ and re-convert the GT86 for just a different badge and front bumper?
Come on, it's the same car, you just should be happy for the fact v0.5 is incoming.

Quite the opposite actually. They are saying that the UP 0.5 is still in development.

I hope StarGT will be back soon®, but with normal direct download links.

A lot of cool stuff coming up for TDU2-UP V05. :D

I honestly have to admit that Minime's mods are by far the best made mods for tdu2, in combination with your sounds they are unbeatable. I said that a thousand times. But just for the record my favourite car from the unofficial patch is still the TVR Cerbera, because only a little hand full of people are driving it, and the car is pure fun. I already had to buy the 2nd cause the first was on his limit of mileage. :D
 
But nice to hear that the project isn't on the shelf, since TheCrew and GTA V (PC-version) are coming up in a few.

No the version 0.4 is not made for the steam version. As far as i know it can also used for the steam version.
 
You have to unpack your retail-version and then install the version 0.4 to have all cars and bugfixes which are mentioned in the first post.

That wasn't luck. Once that accidentally starting with the original launcher happened to me, too. Every patch car was a Miami Mustang, but nothing else happened. Fortunately I always make a save backup before starting, so I could send the "Pink Plague" to hell and restore all my patch cars ;-)

When I used the universal launcher for the first time, there where no changes in the savegame, no matter if used with the vanilla version or with the unpacked. Your problem has nothing to to with the launcher. Maybe it just was a coincidence and something else caused the reset of your save.

I also accidently started once via uplauncher after installing the patch. The only thing that happened was the transformation of all patchcars into miami mustangs. Everything else stayed as it was. (Maybe i had luck, because i have two folders of the game. One with the original installation and one with the unpacked patched game.)

To beat a car or not always depends on the skills of the driver. In the hands of a noob who just hacked ingame money to crash around the streets with progress lv. 1, the Bugatti SS is never a real challenge, even when you enter the race with some A4 or A5 ride ;) Once I even managed to win against a Bugatti SS with noting more than a Subaru Impreza :D
