  1. Hey, you're probably not caring anymore, but here's another area that you can hit top speed with. I've managed to hit the top speed in every car I've tried - though I don't know if I hit top with the SuperSport there, partially because I don't know what its top speed is - but it's an awesome road and is a stretch of my favourite road. The end of my favourite road is the bit of road you posted there. It leads to a junction just over a bridge and that's where I stop (the rocks on the left just before the bridge are bugged and good fun to drive into at ~250mph as you go flying). Anyways, I couldn't get it uploaded here and finding what the guidelines for posting images is is impossible as I've found scattered information. So here's a link to it from Copy.com. Start facing West (as the cursor shows) and you should just be inside a tunnel. Drive out of there with your foot flat and keep it down. Hit 284mph in the Koenigsegg, 249 in the Tricolore (and I think the Cinque as well as the F and the Roadster F), I think I've hit 291mph in the SuperSport down there but don't quote me on that. But whatever; it's a great road and great fun to drive on as fast as the game will allow. EDIT: Well it seems I can't post links either since I don't have 20 posts. Dammit these forum rules are a pain (but I understand why they're in place - please don't try and explain it to me). So yeah, if you really care, go to Copy.com and then append: "/kkYsadY9GUgj" without the quotes.
  2. Basically, I've discovered that the Ferrari F430 is available with the Unofficial patch and is an A3 car so I thought I'd use that for my car in that class this time round. However, I want to get a tuned one if possible and you can only get those from the used car dealer. Is there a way to reset the cars in the dealer and if so, what is it? Is there a way to tailor what appears in the shop (WITHOUT hacking - though a minor exploit is no problem) so that I can get an F430? Cheers
  3. Hey guys, I just bought TDU2 for PC in the summer sale yesterday and I was wondering if anyone on the forums still plays it. If so, who's up for some cruising around the island? I'll have to unlock some more decent stuff first, though. Preferably my favourite car; the Pagani Zonda Tricolore.
  4. Hmmm. I certainly want to get the game from what I've seen so far. If I do indeed get it, I shall be on PC and my Steam name is xBlizzDevious.
  5. Ooh, what game is that? I wanna do some off-road driving!
  6. Well I was a bit dubious of pressing the accept button when I saw that... But I also saw something in a thread shortly after. Uhm... I've already handed over my teeth....?
  7. Just found out about this game (from a person welcoming me to this forum) and I have to say that this just disappoints me so much. As a person who has converted from 15+ years of console gaming to switching to PC gaming over the past 3 or so years, I can safely say that I am very disappointed with almost all games that are being released for PC lately. I find more old games that work better on PC than new games which are (or at least damn well should be) designed for the sort of hardware I run on. The thing that bugs me most is any game with a 30 FPS cap. If I'm on PC, I want to be able to see as many frames as my PC can produce. Anything above 50 and I'm happy. Below that and I really notice it. I haven't played any of the recent NFS games (mainly, though not entirely) for this exact reason. I see that some NFS devs are working on this game and so I'm going to be VERY annoyed if they enforce a 30 FPS cap. Apart from that rather angry outburst, this game looks freakin' awesome! Haha!
  8. Never heard of "The Crew" but if it's essentially TDU3, I'll certainly enjoy it. I'll look into that shortly. If TDU1 servers lasted 5-6 years, are you stipulating that TDU2 may last the around the same amount of time and so will probably be around for 2 or maybe even 3 more years yet? Awesome news about the Unofficial patch... Now I'm just more tempted to buy the damn game! Though lack of community servers could be an issue if the above statement doesn't hold out. And yeah... TDU2, though many things were wrong with it or just didn't seem right, was (in my opinion) genuinely a good, fun driving game. The "story" was pretty pathetic and don't get me started on the voice acting, animation and physics....... Alright, there was a lot wrong with it... But I absolutely love driving in it and it has some of my most favourite cars (does that make sense?). I think the best thing about it is the free roam and the islands. I loved the two island idea and I think they did it pretty well. And the drive around Hawaii... I love that race (well, time trial). Last time I checked on the Xbox, I had somewhere around the 40th place on the leaderboards in my Zonda Tricolore, which also happens to be my favourite car of all time. Nothing before it or since it is as awesome (in my opinion). EDIT: What the heck is with the profile Avatars? Haha! At least I've found a forum that accommodates people like me who never set one up. EDIT2: OK.... Just watched the trailer for The Crew. If the real game is anything like that trailer; this game will be epic. It did look like there may have been a couple of things that I don't care for in there, but as long as it's not ramming everything down your throat if you don't want it, I'm fine with it. The only other problem I could foresee with it is that it was made by Ubisoft and I know that they're not exactly known for avoiding micro-transactions which I see as the bane of existence. I despise those damn things. And it's another thing that I didn't like in TDU2. Haha!
  9. Hello! A little bit about myself to begin with: I'm in my 20s and from the UK. I joined this forum as I greatly enjoy racing games (the good ones, at least) and I also enjoy modding them. Almost all games where it's possible, I love to modify, tweak and often break them and that's always fun, too. I've recently replaced my Driving Force GT steering wheel with a Logitech G27 and have absolutely loved the difference and as such have begun playing lots of racing games again. As well as some not so racey driving games; namely Euro Truck Simulator 2 (that game's awesome) as well as Farming Simulator. Haha! Short review of both wheels for you guys: Driving Force GT: Great wheel - pretty solidly built but it just isn't quite solid enough to be really nice. 900 degree turning is quite awesome for some games. G27: Epic wheel! Really solidly built, works well with most games without any issues, is awesome in almost every way. The only two things I would "complain" about would be the lack of seven gears on the H-Shifter, though reverse can be used for 7th and you can just assign another button for reverse if need be. And also, there's no force feedback in the pedals which is a bit of a shame but not a major problem at all. Firstly, TDU is an awesome game series that I wish would continue, but thanks to terrible companies, no longer exists. Back when I first got an Xbox 360 (when the Elite first came out), it came with a demo of TDU1 and was probably the first game I bought for it. I played that game to death and absolutely loved it! Then when TDU2 came out, I put no question in to buying it. By then, however, I had started to use Xbox Live (which I didn't have when I was playing TDU1) and playing online with and against friends was awesome, apart from the MAJOR issues with servers and almost never actually being able to join the same server as your friends or even get in races together. Since then, I've played that to death too (I think I've completed it four or five times already..... Haha)! BUT... I have also switched from console to PC gaming over the past few years and unfortunately don't have a copy of TDU2 for PC; which leads to the main reason I joined this forum. The main reason I joined is that I want to ask some questions from you knowledgeable folks. - What is the state of the servers on TDU2 for PC; as in, how easy is it to join a game with friends and race/cruise around together? - What is the state of the Unofficial Patch (is it still being worked on)? I've seen how awesome it is and it's basically what really made me want to buy a PC version of TDU2. - Does anyone know how long the TDU2 servers will last? I read somewhere that they might be going offline soon which (if they work at the moment) will be a bit of a bummer to me. - If the main servers do go down, would it be possible - and will it ever be likely - that community servers would be put into service? Thanks in advance for answering the questions and I hope to enjoy my time spent on these forums! TL;DR: Hi guys! If you wouldn't mind reading those questions and answering if you can, I'd be grateful.
